I apologize for making this sound like a showjumping course >_< I have no experience whatsoever with hunter Savannah Storm | 17 | Tristan, Noah After a curt nod to Tristan, Savannah nudged Avatar into a fast-flowing trot. The stallion responded swiftly, his powerful legs pounding the ground. Turning to face the first jump, Savannah felt her horse pull beneath her. Tightening the reins slightly, she kept him at a trot for the first obstacle. He leapt forward, picking his legs up neatly. Leaning forward with his movement, Savannah tighened her knees on the saddle. The next jump came up quickly. Asking Avatar for a collected canter, the grey responded willingly, arching his neck. He jumped cleanly, his rider flowing with his movement. Landing roughly, she lost her balance, her foot slipping out of the stirrup. Avatar picked up on his rider's irritation. Tensing, his tail swished nervously. "Agg, baby," Savannah murmured, a faint smile appearing on her face as they rode. "It's okay." This said, she readied herself for the next obstacle, a post and rails combination. Avatar took it gently, his pale neck stretching forward. After landing, Savannah asked for a lead change. The grey responded, lightly 'skipping'. The partnership between these two was clear to see, Savannah's hand constantly resting on Avatar's neck for reassurance. They completed the last obstacle swiftly, both acting as if it were a larger jump. Leaping forward, Avatar flicked his hind legs up to prevent collision. Savannah slwoly pulled him in after they landed, bringing him to a halt beside Tristan. Edited at December 23, 2019 05:55 AM by Tanglewood

T'sani Mzi | 28 | XCCI & RI | Open After exploring the fields and barns, T'sani decided to try Witch on the short cross-country course. They had already walked past it, but never ridden it. Nearing it, he felt Witch dance beneath him. Although her breed was best for dressage, the black mare had always loved cross-country. The speed, danger, wind through her mane. Directing her to face the first jump, T'sani nudged her into a canter. The surly mare's long legs covered the ground quickly, her ears pricking towards the obstacle. A simple hedge jump, it was disguised with flowers to look like a flower bed. Witch leapt cleanly, her hooves lifted high. T'sani murmured some words of praise to her as they cantered to the next jump. They cleared the log easily, never breaking stride. Although having taken some time to click, anyone could see that this pair was made for each other. T'sani rode in sync with Witch's strides, always listening to her mood. After flying over a tricky hogs' back combination, they neared the water jump. The most formidable jump on the course, the water jump was angled at a slope. There were two options: either you could go around to jump a small flower box jump and enter the water at an easier angle, or you could attempt to clear the obstacles from the water uphill to land. Deciding on the longer route, T'sani leaned forward as Witch cleared the flowers easily. Witch turned to the next part of the water combination, a small post and rails into the water before cantering through the water. Drops of water splashed everywhere as Witch ploughed through it, determined. The pair quickly completed the last two jumps. Nearing the finish, T'sani urged the mare into an extended gallop, her strides demolishing the ground quickly. He halted her gradually, leaning back slightly as he pulled the reins slightly. Happy new years everyone!)) Taylor Sinde / No Beauno / Showjumping instructor Taylor tacked her large grey beast up in his showjumping tack. Today she decided to color coordinate in the color 'Sea foam green'. She strapped his boots on, tied his bonnet on, tightened her girth, and walked him over to the jumping ring. She wore her hair in a low pony, and a t-shirt matching his saddle pad, bonnet and boots. She warmed him up, popped him over a couple 3' jumps, and set out a couple higher ujmps.

(Happy New Year! and I'll try to think of something to edit on here 😅) . . Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare & Espresso Silhouette | M: Open . -Heather got Mystery to smoothly transition into a canter as she rides along the fence line a few times before gently turning the mare towards a low jump as a few of them were set low while the other jumps were either medium or high. Mystery's ears remained forward as they approach the low jump then she easily clears it before doing the same thing with the other low obstacles then Heather starts jumping Mystery over the medium jumps as the mare's ears remained perked forward but once they've gotten to the large jumps, the skittish mare started to act up a bit but jumped large obstacles just fine until they got to the triple bar. When they approached the jump as Heather was getting ready for the mare to jump but she was taken by surprise by a badly spooked refusal which caused the young woman to get thrown off, hitting the ground hard to where the wind was knocked out of her lungs as the mare bolted off to the other side of the arena while her hooves didn't hit her rider at all thankfully. The young woman just laid there, trying to regain her breath the best as she could but she would coughing in the process- . Aag, it's fine Aspen :) Here's the Kholo post I promised about...scratches head...ja, I don't think saying when is good for my self-esteem xD Kholo Mzi | 33 | Owner, D & NH | Open Kholo walked purposefully towards the empty arena, her hands slumped in the pockets of her red jersey. The wind whipped around her, its icy fingers finding their way into her spine. Slouching slightly to keep the warmth captive, she opened the gate with her gloved hand, the wood creaking slightly from the cold. She walked to the centre of the smoothly-raked sand, her black boots leaving footprints in the sand. Sighing softly, she rubbed her hands together to stay warm. None of the students had arrived yet, so it looked as if she would be here for a while longer. Alone, at least. She shivered, her breath appearing in pale clouds in the air.
