Kholo Mzi | 32 | Owner | Open
Kholo walked purposefully towards the tackroom. Carrying a saddle on her arm, she clenched her teeth to keep the piece of paper from flying away. Her arms were damp with sweat despite the cool breeze from an hour's work with a particularly cantankerous mare.
Knocking the door open with her knee, Kholo quickly dumped her leather dressage saddle on its rack, slinging the bridle carelessly on its hook. She finally took the neatly typed paper out of her mouth and found a red pin. Pinning it to the messy noticeboard, she stepped back to see how it turned out.

She sighed. The wording was awful!. Too late now, she thought ruefully, picturing the stack of flyers in her office. A smile lit up her face. Edited at December 8, 2019 07:49 AM by Tanglewood

Noah | H/J/E | Kholo, Tristan
Over the past month or so, Noah had settled down slightly, maturing a bit each day as he had to take on more and more responsibility. Under the guidance of both Tristan and Emily, Noah had taken on the responsibility of being the main rider for both of the eventing trainers' horses, the female rendered unable to even walk, and the male simply gone, leaving the geldings behind. Not only did he have these four, but he had his own mare as well as the school horse he'd been assigned. Having six horses a day, plus whatever Wyatt brought him over had been a lot for the teenager, but he'd accepted the task with gusto. As it had turned out, everyone was more pleased with him now than they ever had been, for the more tired he was each day, the less stupid he became.
Noah was strolling the barn searching for Savannah and Tristan when he saw Kholo putting up a piece of paper. Observantly, he watched and read, waiting until she was finished to ask her, "we're having a show here? That's so cool! And we're having hunters AND jumpers?!"

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare & Espresso Silhouette | M: Open
-Heather would be riding her gelding at the cross country course since her leg was a lot better now. Her mind raced with every thought in her mind as she felt completely out of it but she stayed intuned with her companion as they soared over the obstacles while making sure to keep him at a steady pace so the old boy wouldn't end up pushing himself like he usually does on the course. She wondered how her mother, her little sister and her three dogs are doing while Mystery was out grazing in the large pasture so she isn't cooped up in her stall all day-
-Prince playfully tossed his head while his strides lengthened from his gallops, pale hooves beating against the ground beneath them along with a swish of his active tail. After what felt like an hour of training on the country course, Heather slowed the large gelding to a gentle halt then pats him on the right side of his neck with her right hand- "Good boy, you did great" -she softly said with a gentle smile on her soft lips then she dismounted before leading him back to the barn to cool him off since he was sweaty from the training-

Kholo Mzi | 32 | Noah
Keeping her back towards Noah, Kholo's eyes twinkled with mirth. "No, actually I just printed a hundred of those flyers telling a lie," she replied dryly, turning around to face him. "Of course we are!" Pausing, she added, "Oh, and would you be willing to compete in one or two of them? I'm looking for a couple of riders from here to enter." Flipping through the file in her right hand, she opened it up. She pursed her lips together thoughtfully. "Might pair you up with Savannah," she murmured softly, her serious eyes spinning with ideas.

Savannah Storm | 17 | Eventer | Open
Savannah tightened Avatar's girth swiftly, her aquamarine eyes serious. Adjusting the stirrups, she led the large grey stallion to the racetrack, passing Heather momentarily on the way.
The stallion pranced excitably, his breath condensing in the cold air. He tossed his head somewhat arrogantly, his hooves hitting the turf loudly. "Shush!" Savannah chided, nudging his shoulder. "We aren't starting a rock band, y'know." Avatar neighed ecstatically back, nuzzling her shoulder. "Oh, stop it, you big baby," she murmured affectionately, halting him.
Putting her foot in the stirrup, she swung up comfortably, immediately tightening the reins as Avatar tried to canter forward. "Not yet, bub," she said as she clucked him into a trot. Rising easily, she guided him around the track, going around twice before nudging him into a canter.
The wind whipped around her, causing her eyes to stream. Avatar lengthened his strides to a racehorse gallop, stretching his neck forward. Savannah loosened the reins slightly, giving him that extra speed needed for a strong finish. Edited at December 10, 2019 11:26 AM by Tanglewood

(Charmed has saved me from my insanity and given me the okay to post. Be warned, I'm way too excited to use Erin and will likely do something stupid tonight lol. Also, I'm terrified to do something wrong, so go easy on my pathetic little potato brain x3 )
<div style="text-align: center;"> Erin | 19 | Dressage | Mentions - Open<div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">A quiet sigh escaped the tense teen as he closed the door to his gelding's stall. He took a moment to stand outside and look in, trying to work up enough courage to turn back and face the world. This was the day of his arrival at White Oaks and there was plenty of fear rising from that fact. Typically he wouldn't be so anxious, but thoughts had gotten the better of him on the way there and, despite the attempt of shaking them, they clung to him.<div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">You got this. It's nothing... Erin silently told himself. Maybe, he hoped, he could trick himself into relaxing. Or, more likely, he'd need something or someone to do that tricking for him. After a good minute of mental debate, he shoved his hands into the pockets of his cream colored hoodie and took in an encouraging breath before slowly turning around. As he went to take a step forward, his mind played thoughts of awkward and embarrassing situations that could -- but likely would not -- happen. It caused his cheeks to turn noticeably rosy and, now feeling the need to avoid eye contact with anybody who may go through the hall, his dark brown gaze dropped down and glued to the floor. <div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">Erin reluctantly began walking on with a somewhat slow yet somehow simultaneously rushed-looking pace. Not much attention was paid to his surroundings and if something were to pop up it'd definitely take him by surprise.

Indeed I did. Hope that's fine, Tangle! I figured you'd be excited to see more friends in the thread!))
Noah | HJ/E | Erin, Kholo
Noah's bright eyes lit up enthusiastically, his mind, too, spinning with ideas. "Is that even a question, silly?! I'll ride Mya in jumpers, Magik in dressage, Jest in cross country, Tabby in hunters, Boomer in the equitation..." Like the scatter-brained adolescent he was, Noah began spewing off the names of the horses he wished to use... in every competition.
"Have you seen Sav? Or Zander? Or Wyatt? I'm supposed to have a lesson soon, but I haven't seen anybody this morning..." - After a while of half-hearted though fully energetic searching, Noah finally ended up near one of the front driveways looking for Wyatt's odd-looking truck. What he did find was what he assumed to be a new student, for some of the riders' horses had arrived during the week, and each day he woke up to a new surprise of a different equine in size, shape, and color in a previously empty stall.
Approaching the man energetically, he waved brightly, a big grin on his baby-face. "Hiya! Hey! I'm Noah! What's your name! Are you new here?!"

<div align="center">Erin | 19 | Dressage | Mentions - Noah, Open <div align="center">
<div align="center">The introduction stopped him dead in his tracks. When he looked up at the stranger, his cheeks became even rosier than before. The slightest trace of a nervous chuckle started his voice and, unsure of what to do with himself, he let his right hand come up to hang from the back of his neck. "Er, yeah.. I'm Erin." He replied a bit awkwardly, offering a weak smile.<div align="center"> <div align="center">Introductions weren't his strong suit. What didn't help was his anxiousness; it pressed down on him and made him jump at practically everything. With any luck, his worries would leave him soon, but that time had yet to come. The only thing that sort of served as a distraction was the new ability to analyze Noah's features. It was an action he did with almost everyone, though it usually ended up in him wanting to slap himself for... Certain thoughts. He didn't want to have them, but they came in anyway.<div align="center"> <div align="center">Recognizing such a thing was happening now, Erin blinked repetitively for second to silence his mind. He hoped it'd go unnoticed behind his already graceless presence. Edited at December 10, 2019 11:11 PM by GreysAnatomy Stables
