Ares rolled his eyes with a small sigh and retreated back into his cave. He laid down and closed his eyes, drifting off. A couple hours later the sun was at its peak. He considered for a moment before letting out a small grunt as he stood snd padded towards the big rock. +++ Cyrus waited until time before telling Furleap and Twilin he was going, then leaving. He went to the meeting spot. |

twilin looked at furleap "for being rude" she replyed before ndding to ares and leaving ============ when cyrus told them he was leaving she whent to the hunters den and crawled through a hole she found as a cub before she found a nice bushy tree and jumped up into it to watch the two males talk |

Farleap rolled her eyes at Twilin's response "Well soorrrry for being extra cautious" She said sounding half annoyed. When she laid down in the sun she sighed, taking a slow deep breath to enjoy the peace and quiet. She woke when Cyrus came and said he was leaving, she smiled and nodded "Okay, be careful" She said, although she didn't know why she said it, she knew Ares was pretty harmless- Unless provoked. After he left she got up and ate before going to talk to another lioness |

The two lions approached each other, polar opposites. Both big, yet one bigger. One dark, almost black, with deadly eyes. One light, almost white, with icy eyes. - Ares lowered himself onto his haunches, holding his head up high and narrowing his eyes slightly as he looked at Cyrus, his head tilted slightly to one side to see the other lion better through his working. Being half blind never helped in his favor. "You wanted to meet me?" - Cyrus padded up, staying standing just in case Ares attacked. He had a feeling the other lion wouldn't, however. His eyes locked with Ares' and he flicked his tail. "Yes. I have attained the knowledge you are technically the direct descendent of the creator of Sister Steps Pride. I first want to inform you I am not giving up my position and I will fight you again if neccesary for the Mane position." He said stoutly. "Now, I also know you were severely mistreated and I don't approve of that, so lion to lion, I think we can make an arrangement where you can come on my land and drink out of the waterhole." He paused, observing the other lion for an answer. - Ares listened emotionlessly, his tail flicking every once in a while. When Cyrus paused he stayed silent for a couple moments. "And why would you ever want to do that? Mind you, you can't keep me out anyway." He said drily. - Cyrus sucked in a breath. "Because I know I can't keep you out and I'm trying to make a peaceful solution, comprendae?" He answered with a matching dryness in tone - Ares watched the light lion for a second. "Hm. Okay. What are the terms I'd have to agree to?" - Cyrus smiled slightly, sitting down. "You wouldn't be allowed in the camp. That's too close. You cannot hunt on my land. But it would give you an opportunity to interact with lionesses every once in a while, which you obviously need." He answered. "Other than that, just don't lay a paw on anyone and I don't see why you can't come on my land." - Ares snorted a little. "Ha, very funny slugger. A couple things, why would I ever want to go near the camp I got mercilessly tossed out of? Why would I want to even go close to YOUR lionesses." He exaggerated the word with an eye roll. "Doesn't matter. If that's it, I can easily agree to it. I won't bother you." He said evenly, standing up. "Good day." He turned and left, heading back to his cave. |

twilin looked down at the two as they spoke when ares started to leave she jumped down when she landed she looked up at the tree for a minute before turning to cyrus and speaking "just making shure no one decided to be stupid" she stated before walking off |

Cyrus jumped sideways as Twilin hopped down out of the tree. "Jeepers!" He exclaimed before shaking his pelt. "I'm not falling for that again." He mumbled as he stalked back. - Ares had easily seen Twilin in the tree- actually he'd been looking for her, since she seemed like the kind of lioness to do something like that. He smirked slightly as he heard Cyrus, then continued back to his cave. |

Cyrus flicked an ear with slight annoyance. "I don't know. You blend in. And apparently I never look up." He snorted. - Ares let out a small chuckle before disappearing, going a little ways past his cave to the tiny watering hole Twilin had showed him. He sat down to stare at the water, his tail still as he thought. |
