The young man remained in a spiteful silence, a smirk tugging at his lips. Finally, something he could control. He couldn't control his past, nor his future, or where he was forced to be every night. He couldn't control the fact that if he ran away again, he'd probably be homeless for the rest of his life. His birthday was only a few months away, and once it happened, the foster care system wouldn't care a bit.
He looked the girl over with keen eyes, deciding that she too was like Wyatt. In a general sense, anyway. And in any case, that meant she was danger. Easily-manipulable danger, who could fall into any ploy he so much as thought upon. Oh, this would be fun, he thought, that silence unceasing until the very moment he saw in her eyes she was bound to walk away. "Because Wyatt made me..." His voice was a low grumble, nothing incredibly satisfying to the ear, though, nothing about the boy was satisfying to the senses. His clothes were ragged, all black, all torn. His hair was a greasy mess that fell in matted knots to his shoulders, and his facial expression seemed fixed in a lowly scowl. It was anyone's wonder why a man like Wyatt had taken charge of such an opposite looking adolescent, the only rational reasoning seeming to be the man's endless heart.

"Us crazy Europeans have THE best jacket potato - Although I'm partial to a decent scone and tea." He did jump as the cup was slammed down,Half of the murmuring cafeteria doing the same.Although his eyes were wide from that shock,They soon became even wider as Tristan firmly spoke - falling to look at his now shuffling feet.Part of him had known Tristan was the most able at seeing through any situation - But but it still startled him as he just matter of factly said it out loud.Almost like a school boy he flustered slightly - Preparing to get defensive.But instead his eyebrows furrowed and simply muttered, "Yeah - Everyone but her it seems.." He didn't directly admit it - But that was a pretty good giveaway in itself.But then in realising the phone had been on the whole time,his shoulders tense - jaw tightening slightly. "You didn't tell anyone?" He hissed quietly - as if trying to keep the caller from hearing anymore,like it would make a difference.But some of him had known - It explained why the hospital wasn't stuffed with panicking riders and stable hands - Even horses when he walked in wouldn't have Suprised him. With a slight sigh,his eyes drift to the side and his head tilts.That was why Wyatt wasn't here - He didn't know.Perhaps the blonde ought to cut him some slack ...It was a momentary thought before his frustration set in again. "He should have been at the sideline to support her.." Tim growled under his breath to himself before letting his face fall - He should have been there too. Breaking out of his cycle of thought, His gaze lifts to look expectantly at Tristan.Was Heather Okay?Did she know now?Had she heard Tristan's pep talk? |

-she felt her whole body tense up as her eyes widen a bit when she heard their voices. She hesitantly took her phone out of her back pocket then she tries to act like she was fine- "H-Hello?, um yeah I'm fine...I guess I accidently called you guys when I was leaning against the stall wall" -she lied about being fine part while hoping that they didn't hear anything that she said earlier-
-she continued to hug the large gelding since he has her trapped in a hug now. She gently pets his neck while she was shaking a bit, indicating that she was about to have a panic attack at any minute- |

"How kind of him." Savannah's tone dripped with sarcasm. "To dump a moody idiot in my hands." She smiled without a hint of emotion. Her dark eyes stared defiantly into his, daring him to speak.
She felt something nudge her back. Turning around in an instant, she saw Avatar nickering at her. She smiled at the feeling of the large stallion resting his head on her shoulder. "Anyway, you just gonna stand here?" she said nonchalantly. "'Cause if you are, I have things to do." Grabbing Avatar's reins, kissed his pink nose gently, before returning to the matter at hand. |

Tim had sat there quite still,making out Heather's voice quite clearly when he tuned into it.She seemed oblivious, He noted with a sigh, but something about her tone made him feel uneasy.Tim knew all too well the way she'd try and act everything was fine - after all he was the master of doing it. The blonde caught Tristan's eye, mouthing ' Ask what she's up to' with a look that almost instructed him to find a talkative side of himself.She needed to talk - and he couldn't think of anyone better for her to do that to. Once he had gotten at least a little of the message, Timothy stood and walked to an quieter part of the cafeteria,getting his own phone and lifting it to his ear. "Hello - Kholo?..Are you busy?" He spoke gently - for once showing an instructor like quality in taking charge.She needed to know - keeping the barn in the dark wouldn't help Emily.Tim partially understood Tristan's attempts to keep it quiet - But it was hardly a tiny and unnoticeable change for when she returned from the hospital.So best bring out the elephant in the room right? |

Tristan shook his head abruptly as his companion grilled him, simultaneously trying to manage both the phone conversation and the now-aggressive ramblings of the man beside him. "Oh, are you sure, Heather? Sounded like you were talking for a while... you didn't hear anything I said, did you?" His tone was still calm and even, no signs of intensity or anger or anything other than placidity. He glanced up to Tim, who was now on his own phone, walking away from him. He assumed he knew exactly what the man was doing, and hoped he was prepared for what was to come.

Zander scoffed, his bright eyes focused directly on her, looking through her. The dimpled smirk on his dirty face wordlessly expressed, 'challenge accepted.' "Enjoy, princess," he sneered, his tone holding no apology for his behavior.
"Hey! Who are you? I'm Noah!" Noah's superficial presence lightened the tension between the two similarly-aged teens, his goofy smile further showing his inability to read social situations. "I brought him over, he was bored..."

"Gee thanks for the compliment," Savannah replied coldly, her ice blue hair depicting her feelings perfectly. She hold her gaze for a moment longer, before tossing her head arrogantly.
Noah's voice cut into her thoughts. She smiled ruefully at his big smile. He was such a goof. "Agh, it's okay," she said, smiling as Avatar nibbled her tentatively. |

"Um yeah I'm sure.." -she lied again as she didn't want anyone to worry about her while listening to Tristan then she answered- "Um, not that I know of..why?" -she shyly said while acting like everything is fine, deep down she felt terrified of opening up to anyone- "Oh and uh Wyatt is here, he's talking to Savannah but there's another guy with him.." -she hesitantly told him as she just updated him-

Tristan breathed a sigh of relief, replying, "oh? Who is the other guy?" He then added, for the sake of completely reversing the conversation, "you're staying off your leg, right? Me and Tim will be home...at some point..." He hesitated, wincing at his own stupidity, then added, "If you need anything done with them, ask Keenan, ask Wyatt, ask Conrad. Probably don't ask Noah, but who knows..."
