Timothy Blue / EI / M: Tristan.
Tim had felt a slight ego boost in making Tristan somewhat flustered for the first time ever it seemed. He had jumped a little at the alarm,Smiling at himself before giving Tristan a nervous nod and following his lead. "Speaking of shots,We may need a few Tranquilizers.." He had joked meekly,The blood beginning to leave his face slightly. It was blatantly obvious the man was nervous about returning into the room after his last attempt,Adding in a quiet tone, "Perhaps you should go in first you know..You haven't done anything for her to toss a scalpel or something at you right?" Tim knew full well hed done plenty to deserve that right now..

Tristan gave a small laugh, debating how much to elaborate. It seemed the man needed to take his mind off of the obvious trepidation, so he began speaking in his normal, sarcastic tone. "You'd be surprised. No scalpels so far, but she did try to chuck a bag of IV fluids at me yesterday. At some point she was so out of it she began making things up."
-- They returned to the room, the girl looking very close to dead on the hospital bed. Her face had been drained of its color, her eyes shut. Which, was probably for the best, considering that if they had been open, her tan eyes would've given an eerie feeling.
Tristan stayed at the doorframe, urging his companion inside. "Go ahead, she'll be a different personality now, I promise."

Tim had returned a slight laugh at his companion,Following still rather cautiously about half a step behind. His face still had a plainness as they reached the room,Tim instinctively stopping right as Tristan did. He couldn't help but give Tristan a bewildered look, ready to protest But Soon gave into his nervous Curiousity and walked slowly in. Within an instant his eyes had welled with tears,His hand shifting up to cover his lower face.It was more of a comfort move than an offending one - Just in morbid shock at how the normally bright girl looked so -.. Dead. Tim soon settled on the edge of her bed, turned to face her as his shaky hand took a loose grasp on her ghostly pale one,Thumb moving in light circles against her skin. His skin had crawled a little as he brushed the drip, trying to ignore the hospital around them.He spent the whole while just watching her face, worried eyes just going over her features and trying to take it in.Trying to understand. Emily | Eventing | Tim, Tristan
Emily groggily felt the touch of another human being against the radiating numbness of her mind and body. Everything felt like a dream, or maybe a nightmare for that matter. She hardly remembered where she was or what was happening, or why she couldn't move her legs. It hardly clicked for her, nor would it, for barely any of her limbs were at that moment moveable. She could barely lift her eyelids to see who was there, though after moments of fighting, she forced them open long enough to see it was Tim. It was rather comforting to see him, though nothing was truly bringing her comfort in her current state.
She had a lot of questions, a lot of things to say, but nothing was coming out. In a very low, weak mumble, she very distinctly and painfully recalled, "I miss my legs."

When he felt her tense slightly - An extremely minor movement but a slight relief all the same - His eyes had quickly flicked to her hand and then followed up her arm to her face.He saw her look briefly, His wide blue eyes just continue to examine he features - glancing away after a few moments when it seemed she'd returned back into a slumber. That's when he heard her murmur - and his heart couldn't help but break.Tim was speechless,Not knowing what to do other than just rub his thumb along her palm.A few tears trickled along his cheek - the blonde hated seeing her so deteriated. The worse part was knowing if she wasn't heavily drugged , She just wouldn't be coping. As much as she tried - and he suddenly came to the realisation. He couldn't be the one to support her through this,She needed someone to rely on. "I'm not that person.." He had murmured,Releasing her hand and shifting his weight away.

Tristan, not exactly able to hear what Emily had said, though very clearly able to hear Tim's reaction, scanned the situation with concerned eyes. Whatever she had said most likely didn't warrant the reaction he had given her, which made his own blood pressure raise. He had called Tim to be a support, not an annoyance, and watching him break down and push Emily away when she needed people most wasn't something he would tolerate. Though, since he seemed to be more emotional than the lifeless girl, he decided to simply watch and wait, still contemplating the magnitude of the battle ahead of her. Perhaps prosthetics would solve her limitations from times prior, yet she'd have to learn to walk again, move again, and ride again, much, much further down the road.
Watching the pair interact, he simply raised an eyebrow, trying to hear the conversation from the door without being seen or observed.

Tim had spent a few moments collecting his thoughts, looking up to the ceiling before giving a breathless sigh and retaking her hand.As much as he wanted to leave - it was him that had got her into this mess.So he had a responsibility to get her out. "Hey Em.." He had spoken gently,His whole body trying to keep the shaking of his voice at bay.Although he miserably failed,Tim kept speaking to her - Just mumbling about random things.Half soothing her,Half himself. A few times during this he had glanced toward the door frame for reassurance like a child - But to no avail. He just gave up looking after a while,Presuming Tristan had gone for a walk or something similar.

Too weak to reply, she weakly squeezed his hand with less strength than an infant could've applied, the color still drained from every indicator of life on her body. She appeared inches from death, clinging to life by a thread.
She simply laid there, her mind hardly able to comprehend thoughts, feelings or otherwise than the uncomfortable feeling of paralysis where her legs used to be, a constant reminder of her new state. Her hand laid limp in his, calm and unmoving against the frantic shaking of his.
"It's going to be okay," she whispered after a good while of working up the strength. Her voice was hardly a voice at all, wind was louder. She wasn't convinced either, but somehow instinctively knew she had to be strong for him, who would have to be her rock once the lucid reality of the situation hit her like a cement truck. She, as usual, was oddly calm when she shouldn't have been, and would be an absolute mess when it was hardly necessary. All she knew in that moment was that she was grateful to have him by her side, but she felt powerless, unable to actually express it.

After a few minutes at most,He'd run out of things to say.His mind couldn't gather another sentence to say - Not even a word or two.His eyes just resentfully watched his hand tremble against hers - trying and failing to get it to stop.Emily's was still, giving an almost undetectable squeeze once in a while. He couldn't tell as to whether it was simply her odd calm nature or the fatigue in her body.Tim presumed it was the latter - She looked as though she was moments away from being on death's bed.Again. He couldn't help but give a find smile and a slight shake of his head at her words.A tear did slip - It was so typical of her to try and keep everyone else afloat whilst she was so close to drowning. "Shush Emily.Youre supposed to be saving your strength to like ..- Breathe." He gave a gentle sigh, "Yeah - It's going to be fine Em.." Tim had added in a quiet but more certain tone.It couldn't not be alright - He wouldn't comprehend that.He continues to rub circles on her hand,a look of content he tried to put on for her, "I can't wait to see you're dressage test..Tristan said you absolutely smashed it." He stopped - Figuring not to mention that expression in terms of the cross country.Tim winced slightly as that passed his mind before l brushing it away, "I'm so proud of you you know that? The way you've really progressed so far this year In so little time..." His voice broke slightly looking up to the ceiling and fighting glossy eyes, "So..Please dont leave m- Us." He had whispered almost inaudibly,Not being able to think to being at the barn without her.She was just as much of a pillar there as Kholo herself - to him anyways.
