Tristan | HJI | Emily
"You good, kid?" Steely gray eyes scanned the infamous tan hue of his student's. He gave her a concerned look, her shiny Thoroughbred turning his head back to give Tristan a bored, sleepy look.
"Yes, I mean, uh, yeah. Actually, can you get that spot on my boot? Careful with my ankle, though. Okay, what else. Oh! Can you grab his groom kit? I want to get him groomed pretty quickly after, or else I might not have time before cross country. It's too bad this rain is coming in and they had to move two events to today." Her thoughts were coming out in hasty blurts, half-minded and fully anxious. He could tell something was off, but hardly realized the effect of her own trainer being gone and what it was doing to her. In all actuality, he'd rather have spent his weekend at the WIHS Hunter Week if he had to go somewhere, or do something he knew how to coach. An introductory and far from enthusiast about dressage, it was as if everyone here was from another planet. He didn't enjoy the fact that he wasn't an expert in the field, it drained his confidence. Not that she really needed a coach, but he needed a job. And being a groom was hardly his favorite.
Watching her dressage trip, he could tell as a certified hunter judge that Magik's movement was not the best in this field. He was doing what he could, but his best was no compare to some of the million-dollar sport horses in the field. As far as the movements went, everything the commentators were saying seemed to equate to good things. Movement after movement occurred, and he was left to the comments of two men to make an assumption about her performance. He hated every minute of it.
Finally, she emerged from the ring, a brilliant smile on her face as she hugged her gelding. He appeared less enthused, but still nobly carrying his rider around with every effort to please. He continued a bright walk out of the ring as the commentators announced once more, "now that ought to move her to at least third, right, Tate? One of the least famous up-and-coming stars in the field, Emily Lachlan-Blount putting down one of the most solid tests we've seen today."
"Yeah, Ricky, I agree. She might have a shot at the Olympics in the years to come. It wouldn't be her first time, either. A former figure skater turned eventer, though it's not really known why."
Tristan huffed, thinking to himself, 'you're glad she's never told you.' Before he could elaborate on his own thought process, she returned to him, very, very delicately dismounting, and not without pain. She seemed a bit wobbly, but nothing out of the ordinary. Or so it seemed.
"Did you see how well he did? That's one of the best tests he's ever laid down, if not the best! I can't wait for cross-country. Better hurry up, though. We have a lot of untacking and retacking to do in not a huge amount of time. Do you think you could help me groom him while I change my clothes?"
Grabbing the gelding's reins, Tristan gave a small nod and began untacking Magik as he led him back to the barns, Emily going in the other direction to change her clothing to suit her next phase better.

Prince | Nightmare | 16 | Gelding | Hanoverian | M: Mystery, Open
-Prince bobs his head up and down as both him and Mystery have been cooped up in their stalls all day then he bellowed out a neigh that echoed through the barn aisle a bit then he snorts. The gelding started to paw up his hay a bit in boredom as he wanted out then both him & the mare started acting up as they were playfully trying to get each other through the bars of their stall that was between them-
Mystery | Espresso Silhouette | 8 | Mare | Brazilian Sport Horse | M: Prince, Open
-Mystery would playfully trying to get to Prince through the bars that are between them as she was acting up with the gelding. She also wanted to get out of her stall as well since she was going a bit bored, starting to pace back & forth in her stall while her ears flicked back & forth as she was taking in every sound she was hearing in the barn-

Timothy Blue/ EI / M:
After a few hours of meandering sparce streets,Boredom had set in enough for Timothy to begin to think. He had done just that,Absentmindedly walking at a brisk pace.It was only when he was broken from a loop of thoughts he realised where he was. With a anxious yet lightly energetic stature he walked back down the concrete corridors,Not stoping the smile beam across his lips followed by a few stiffled sobs. The young man remained silent,All his guilt and apology transferred quickly to the bay in a tight and length hug.Tim remained on the Geldings neck to a while,Breathing in his scent as the tears really began to flow,Mumbling in a broken tone, "I'm so - Sorry.Sorry.." Over and over again. It wasn't long before the Bay lifted his head,Desciding the wallowing had gone on for long enough,To graze his teeth over his rider's back. Not intentionally harmful - Enough to give a quick nip. Tim jumped back slightly,Giving an aghast look and groaning a little, "Geez Boomer. One little bit of a affection you moody little mule." But still,The blonde have his mount an affectionate look followed by an eyeroll. His tears had dried up now,Boomer taking minimal interest in his injuries,Surely his hay net was much more rewarding. "Okay - I deserved that I suppose..Ill go get you some dinner hmm?" With a light nod,He walks a little further to check Looney,a softened look in his eye as the gelding greets him enthusiastically. After this he continues past down the corridor,Mixing some feed before walking back and half-Halting.With a confused look he scrunches up his nose,Turning to glance around before calling out down the corridor, holding the buckets in a pretty tense manner. When he'd located the stable hand who had been responsible for Boomer and Looney.Well Tim went a little bit too meticulous.Asking many,Many questions on feed routine supplements. So much so the young lady was brimming in tears by the time it finished - Tim a little angry. Both with her and himself. "I mean who doesn't put the supplement in before the water and after the chaff. And everyone knows to leave the carrots at a length of 3 inches.Freaking 2 and a half my as.." He muttered to himself as he fed his pair,Leaning outside Boomer's stable and glancing over the hallway. He couldn't see Emily's mounts. But he didn't panic as he would usually - Half of him already knowing before he came back to the barn. It was simple - Shed left him.
