Alone, lost, and hungry. When the Red Fever took humankind the remaining animals were left to fend for themselves. They are the survivors of this calamity. But survival is not easy. Danger lurks around every corner in the form of wild animals and other dogs not eager to share their food or water. Who are you willing to trust? Who are you willing to hunt with? Survival is easier with a pack, but old wounds and heartache can quickly turn friends into bitter rivals.

Zodiac was bolting through the woods like a bullet, dodging and weaving anything that was in her way. She glanced behind he seeing that the cougar was still hot on her trail. She knew that she could outrun it but not for long and when it did finally come to a fight she was long dead. She went from the woods that laid on the out skirts of the city and bolted into the city trying to find a place to hide. She didn't care if the cougar went after someone else, as long as it was off her case she was fine

Zodiac was starting to slow down still looking frantically, all the spaces to hide were either taken up by other animals or way too small for her to fit. She yelped suddenly when the cougar swiped at her hind end causing her to pick up her pace she finally ducked over to a hiding spot. It was a bit small but she didn't care, she shoved a cat that was in there out of the way and left it open to the cougar. She laid down trying to calm her breathing, not looking as the cougar snatched up the cat quickly and walked away. Zodiac took deep breaths while looking at her hind, it was starting to bleed but not super bad. -this is just great...- Not only was she bleeding but the smell of blood would lead other predators to her. She got up quickly glancing around before bolting back to a small one sotry building. It was a old mechanic shop but to her it was her new home

Lucifer perked his pointy ears, a slight snarl echoing from his mouth. He had heard a rustle in the bushes. Suddenly a bear lumbered through the bushes, towards the cave Lucifer was sheltered in. The wolf snarled deeper, his hackles bristling. He was NOT giving up his sleeping space to a dumb old grizzly. The bear looked at him sleepily before walking forward again. Lucifer lashed out with his scissor like fangs, cutting through the bears flesh in its shoulder. The bear roared and lifted onto its hind legs, raising a paw and trying to bat Lucifer out of the way. He let out a bark, leaping forward and smashing his heavy weight again the smaller bear. Then Lucifer snapped again, tearing the skin on the bears neck. The bear swung a paw at him, catching his hip with the tip of its claws. Lucifer yelped, crouching and preparing for a spring. He launched himself against the bear, closing his jaws around its throat. The grizzly grunted and flung him off, finally lumbering back off through the bushes. Lucifer landed on his feet, pinning his ears at the retreating back of the bear. "Stupid idiotic big fat..." Lucifer muttered insults under his breath, pacing back into the cave to lick his wound.

Zodiac entered into the abonded mechanic shop going straight to the back of it. She entered a room full of table and chairs, it had a water cooler and snacks as food that she was living off of. She went up to the water cooler and tipped it over pouring water tiny bit of water was left onto her hind where the cougar got her. She yelped in pain before shaking the pain and water off. She walked over to rumamge through the snacks, she tore into a bag of chips before trying to find somethign else -dang it was that really the last one- She thought to herself before quietly making her way out of the building. She glanced around before quickly trotting off to the forest watchign her surrondings, she was jsut going to have to catch her own food.

Lucifer pricked his ears, hearing a yelp. A yelp of pain. He slowly got up, lurking outside and sniffing the air. A very faint trace of... another dog... flowed to him. His lips curled up slightly as he cocked his head, listening. Lucifer could hear soft paw steps treading towards him. His hackles raised and he glanced at his small wound before standing still and silent in the shadows, his dark dappled coat blending in.

Zodiac slowed to a walk once she reached the forest, she dipped her head down sniffing the ground to find the scent of a small animal. -frog.. mouse.. bear... wolf...- She stopped dead in her tracks, the bear smell was faint so it wasn't still around but the wolf scent was fresh. She raised her head bringing a snarl to her muzzle, she was ready for a fight if a wolf sprung out. She continued to walk through the forest but she treaded lightly making sure her footsteps were barely noticable and tried staying down wind so her scent wouldn't drift anywhere as she still looked for something to eat.

Lucifer heard a snarl. The dog must've scented him. He crept forward silently till he saw a very small dog... maybe an Aussie...? He stalked forward, like a shadow flitting through the trees. Lucifer got ready for the big entrance, knowing this dog was about 5 times smaller than him... and female. He didn't underestimate females, but this one looked tiny. Then again, that snarl was brave... so he guessed a little spitfire of a tiny female. Great. He hunched his big shoulders and stepped out of the bush, not pinning his ears or showing his fangs... but his eyes having a dangerous glint in them that told her not to try anything.
