"I apologize for your pain." Leo smiled innocently, not reacting to the sarcasm at all. He rolled his eyes as she spoke, then snorted. "It's after five, right? If it's wine, bring me back some." He quipped, grinning devilishly before watching her disappear. Waiting a couple minutes, his eyes flitting around, he tilted his head as he heard a quiet crackle. Yep, they'd better go. As Glory grabbed his wrist, he hurried to run after her so she didn't get yanked over backwards when he didn't move. "Must not have been wine. What was it? Wait-" He stopped and wrinkled his nose. "I can smell it. Rum? You know, if I have a rough day- which I have had- I would go for some rum. Then again, it makes me act even more like Captain Jack Sparrow, and no one wants me stumbling around asking why the rum is gone." He panted to be able to say everything, run, and grin at the same time. When they were far enough, he slowed, snorting quietly. "Did it light well?"

Glory rolled her eyes at his question, still running, and let him go knowing he was close. "Right again, it was rum. And no, you don't get any. I could've easily pilfered a bottle, but neither of us needs it," She said between breaths. After a while, they slowed, and Glory paused a moment, trying to catch her breath. "Yeah, extremely. And I didn't set myself on fire, yay me," She answered after a few seconds with a grin.

Leo was kind of glad when she let go, because he didn't want to accidentally hurt her when he crashed to a halt. "Why don't I get any? It'll help my fighting. I won't feel pain!" He complained, the paused. "And no one will be able to anticipate my attacks, because they'll be completely random!" He snorted in amusement, sucking in a breath as they had stopped. "You didn't set yourself on fire? Nice for you." He smirked, blowing out a breath before sucking in another one. "Okay. We should get back quickly." He morphed into his dragon shape, shaking his long, reptilian head.

Glory tried to hide her amusement and retorted, "You don't get any because I said so. Plus, I need you to think straight and walk straighter." She rolled her eyes at his next sentence. "No, actually, I didn't. Impressive, I know," She said dryly, shifting into her dragon form as well. She shook herself out a little, then raised her head and sniffed the air, grinning slightly at the smell of smoke and -ick- rum. She turned her head back to Leo and asked, "Mind if we walked for a bit? I'd like to make sure they're busy with my genius fire before we make ourselves totally visible and vulnerable."

Leo made a face. "You're mean. And I never think straight, and walking straight is a challenge WITHOUT alcohol." He huffed. It was... true. He never seemed to walk straight unless he concentrated. He kind of just swaggered everywhere. "Impressive indeed!" He cheered quietly, agreeing in full force. He wandered along before she spoke, then smiled sweetly. "No, I think you just want to spend more time with me. It's easy to get attached to me, I know." He flashed a charming, though dragonish, smile, slowing his pace slightly. "Jokes aside, yes. We can slow." He added, his spines bristling slightly as he lowered them even more.

Glory stuck her tongue out at him. "Am not. Although you're right, that doesn't mean we're going back just to rob them of their rum," She replied with a grin. "I know I am," She said with mock haughtiness. She ducked her head slightly at his next words and mumbled, "Maybe that too..." She raised her head again and sniffed the air, catching smoke and... charred flesh? Hopefully some drunk idiot got a little too close trying to save his beloved and met the same fate. She kelp walking, trying to stifle a yawn and failing, wrinkling her snout and showing her fangs.

Leo gave her another Spock eyebrow. "You are acting like a child. Tsk tsk." He chided in a British accent. "We could go back to rob them! I bet I could sneak in and out. I'd do anything for alcohol." He grinned jokingly, then his eyes widened a little bit at her mumbled words. Was that really true? No- of course she was joking. Joking. Joooking. When she sniffed the air, he flared his nostrils, catching the scent of charred body. "Huh. I hope he enjoyed his rum before that." He commented wryly, grinning as he walked slowly, more like sauntering. He slid in his claws, as they made more noise.

Glory snorted at his scolding, then retorted, "Oh yeah, I bet you could. Remind me again of why I should let you do that?" She glanced at him as he made yet another dumb Leo-y comment. "Oh, don't be jealous. I, for one, pity the fool," She teased, smacking him over the head with her tail. Glory kept walking, lifting her head every now and then to smell for smoke and anyone -or anything- approaching. She smelled no people or other dragons, which she hoped meant they were all busy with their precious alcohol.

Serves those bastards right, I hope they all burn, Glory thought.
