Lieutenant Dwyer Glory bit back a grin. "Oh, but you make it all sound so dire, like the end of the world." She lilted. "Now you've got it! Just keep thinking like that and we'll be fine! Besides, even if something does go wrong, they can't catch us if they've all been poisoned or can't see. I'm practically made for heists and escapes." She teased, glad he wasn't being all doom and gloom. Then, a first-year Glory somewhat recognized, with blue and purple hair and strange eyes, burst through the door and delivered probably the most shocking news Glory'd heard all day. It took Glory a second to fully realize what the student said. "How do you know this? And are you absolutely certain?" Glory asked, narrowing her eyes slightly.

General Anubis +++ Leo scowled at her. "It is dire! I don't want General Rogue and General Simara getting murdered while we sing Hallelujah and drink to a song!" He huffed, then rolled his eyes "Uh huh. Sure. I will proceed to think sarcastically the entire day and hope it works." He answered just as sarcastically, then snorted. "Depending on your powers again, eh?" He asked with a wry smirk, but it was definitely not the best jab he could've come up with. He hadn't put his all into it. His golden gaze flitted up as the slightly annoying (you're welcome, Ghost!), crazy haired, strange eyed, dagger throwing student came screeching into the room like Lightning McQueen on his last lap. His eyes then flew open in shock, and he went ridged for a second before standing, which was a bit of a mistake, as dizziness still threatened to send his world spinning and darkness crept along the edge of his eyesight. "I swear, dizziness is my true love because it's the only thing that can sweep me off my feet-" He muttered under his breath, then focused on the problem at hand. "What she said. How? And I will reiterate the other one too- are you ABSOLUTELY certain? I do not want to be rushing into a giant camp of Corrupted fighting machines on a hunch." He watched her carefully, looking for signs of.. emotion and what it was. Many people showed their emotions, and he was adept at sensing them and seeing them. On most people it was easier than others. He disliked General Rogue at first purely because he absolutely could NOT tell what the guy was feeling, but Leo had quickly figured them out, too. They did have emotions. It was just harder to get to.

'Guys, guys, guys. Stop picking on each other like children', said Flash,'Let me get kitted up and we'll go. stealth mission, the three of us, full kit. armour, weapons, everything.' 'It would be nice to have more but the new recruits just aren't up to it and i'm not sending them to their deaths. Maybe some of the best would survive the fight but we'd have to look after them and it would destroy the meaning of a stealth mission.' Flash led the other's at a jog to the armoury before suddenly stopping and turning around quickly after realising something. 'Are either of you injured?', he asked,'You might say no to help, but if your injured and i find out if we have to fight or during the op we're all stuffed. I saw you guy's sparring contest, so i know both of you probably are sore in some way.' Edited at June 1, 2024 04:06 AM by Aussie Stables

General Anubis +++ Leo's attention was drawn away from the first year for a second by Wallis, who was spewing things that didn't even make much sense. He didn't glare at the younger man, but his gaze wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. He was trying to learn important information! Of course he wasn't PICKING on ANYONE like a CHILD. A little irritated, he turned to Wallis. He had the right of experience, as he'd been here longer and was older, but technically they were the same rank, so he was going to try and treat the General with some respect. "Wallis, nobody is picking on anyone. We have communicated with General Rogue, and he pointed out quite firmly that we needed to go tomorrow. We are trying to learn important information, right now, so we can't do anything at this second, anyway. I was not planning on sending any first years to their deaths- I am NOT that stupid and cruel." He cast Wallis a glance as the person started to rush off, then stopped. He was not going to follow, as he was busy. "Don't concern yourself with my health." He said curtly, then turned back to the first year, attentive.

Flash bit back a reply. How the hell was he meant to know? Flash walked away going towards his room when he went into dragon form and used his camflauge to become practically invisible. He walked to the armoury and kitted up throwing all his favourite weapons and armour on. He walked to the exit and flew away, in the direction of the enemy camp.

(West~ I need to remember that line cuz I deal with vertigo xD) Lieutenant Dwyer Glory suppressed a grin, wrinkling her nose slightly. "If you don't get yourself killed, that better be an invitation," She said wryly. "No no no, it only works if you actually believe it. No sarcasm or you'll jinx yourself," She said, mostly joking, then snorted at his next words. "Not 'depending', more like 'using for any possible advantage'. Would you prefer I just rush in and get myself killed or captured within 5 minutes? Keep Romanov company, perhaps?" She said, giving him an innocent look. As Leo and Flash talked, Glory bit back the urge to say 'I could pick on him, though.' followed by 'Cruel? no. stupid? perhaps' And instead stayed silent. She sighed when Wallis left, both wanting to follow him and stay put. Edited at June 1, 2024 08:58 PM by KPH Equestrian

Flash knew Glory would have known that he had left. He wondered if she would come, he hoped she did as he knew he would most likely need her if things turned nasty. He flew high into the air knowing that no machine could hit him there.

(XDD I felt pretty smart when I thought that up LOL Question - do you think Libra or Taurus would fit Leo better? They both have Leo's traits, but they both have traits that aren't of Leo, too XD )) - General Anubis +++ Leo rolled his eyes, casting a snort at Glory. "I can't believe it. It's not that easy." He said wryly, watching Wallis walk off. That may not be the best sign. He hadn't been really RUDE, had he? Then again, why had he been so.. harsh? Did he feel threatened? Pfft- no. He was Leo. He wasn't threatened by anything. He turned back to the first year (Ghost, get on -le sob-) and waited for them to spill the beans, hoping it was good, solid information. If they actually knew who kidnapped the two Generals, that'd be GREAT. However, at the moment, it was all in the air. He glanced back at the passageway Wallis had disappeared down, seeming to hesitate. He was irritated with himself for not being able to make a decision. Why was he being so indecisive!? He needed to know this information, but he had a strong feeling Wallis had left- the campus. Completely. Most likely gone to be stupidly heroic and try to rescue the two Generals himself, meanwhile getting captured in the process. Growling under his breath, he finally decided to wait the second it took for the girl to speak, then he was going to go after Wallis.

Flash flew before his senses picked something up. He flew straight up and just in time as a massive arrow that would have hit him flew under his belly. He went into camouflauge mode and flew at full speed back to the campus. He went through the door to Leo. 'Get kitted up Leo! Now! Everyone! Their coming, here, with weapons that take out 10 dragons at once!' Flash yelled. He kitted up again and ate and drank quickly, knowing that battle was imminent. His instincts that had made him one of the best to ever come through the ranks had kicked in.
