Lieutenant Dwyer

After laying in bed doing absolutely nothing, Glroy quickly grew bored, as one does when the only paint you're watching is already dry. Since she'd been here a good few minutes and nobody came to ask something of her, Glory decided she ought to get moving. She sat up, now fully awake, and got out of bed. She took a glance at herself in the mirror, and realized that not only had she not once cleaned the cut across her neck, but a few minor wounds had also started bleeding, albeit slowly, on her thighs and shoulders, staining her formerly-clean clothes. Damn it. Glory sighed, and got in the shower, though she had a feeling that if she took a hot shower she'd fall asleep standing upright, and she'd have a new head injury to explain. Cold shower it is, then, no matter how much she'd rather take a hot one. She scrubbed gently at all her wounds, finally taking time to check how bad each of them was. Glory was a bit surprised to see that the stitches Leo had given her had held up pretty well.

Damn, he's good. Wonder where he learned it, Glory thought, before realizing almost in the same instant; Oh- he's probably had to practice on himself a good few times.

Glory got out of the shower and got dressed, this time in a deep blue tunic and grey pants, along with her usual -now slightly bloodstained - boots. Not much she could do about that right now, and headed out down the hallway. She made a quick stop at the cafeteria, grabbed a piece of toast to eat on the way, and left quickly, not wanting any students to try to talk about her, especially about her injuries.

Glory made her way outside, glad to be out of bed, and just wandered around for a few minutes, staying relatively close to the building.

Leo stared at the sky for a couple seconds, basking in the silence of the morning. It was nice out when everyone wasn't trying to kill you and talk to you and need you for something. He finally decided to try and do something productive, although he honestly didn't know what that something was. Not laying in a field, probably. Shoving himself to his feet for, like, the 67th time today, he winced and rubbed his forehead, battling a small headache that was sliding in out of nowhere. He then walked towards the building, his stomach informing him that he needed to eat something or he'd die. Leo spotted Glory wandering along the side, and although he didn't want to cater to the part of his mind that seemed to be stuck to her like creepy glue, he did want to make sure she was okay. He wandered over, offering a small smile as a greeting. "How are you feeling today?" He asked, glancing her over just to make sure she hadn't miraculously acquired more random wounds. Just sounded like something she'd do.

Glory was rather pleased to see Leo, especially given the other options. She smiled back and said, "Still sore, but better. Your stitches have held well, by the way. How about you? No more broken bones, I hope." She asked, tilting her head slightly. Hopefully, he hadn't screwed his ribs up worse, but that was like asking a dog to read. Wishful thinking at its finest. Oh well, what could she do?

Flash saw Glory and Leo talking. He still had no idea what had happened and hadn't managed to speak to Glory with their busy days, he hoped that'd change soon

"Well, I'm pretty sure we're all just going to be sore for the rest of our lives, at this point." Leo snorted, then nodded, looking pleased with the next bit of information. "Good. I've had some practice, so it's expected they'd hols up decently well." He commented, then gave her a wry smile. "No garuntees on the broken bones thing... it kind of just throbs everywhere, so I wouldn't know, but I haven't heard any more sickening snaps." Leo grinned, not that this was a super funny thing to be grinning about, but he found it slightly amusing that she was already worrying about more broken bones. "Give it a couple days, I bet I'll have more information then." He joked lightly, wincing slightly as a piercing pain shot through his head, then receded to a dull ache again. Huh. Weird. "You didnt give me enough time to break more bones. It's too early for that! Come back in an hour and ask again." He chuckled quietly, glancing around at the bright morning.

Glory smirked slightly and quipped, "Oh god I hope not, I'd like to be able to function as normally as possible." With his next words, she nodded solemnly and said, "Hmmm, that's both fortunate and not," then, "That's... good? I haven't broken any more of your bones at least." With a sly grin. "I think that's a good thing, no? If you're going to go gallivanting and smashing your skeleton like a pinata, maybe I ought to just hang out with you the rest of the day. At least then I get to do the bone-breaking." Glory lilted, then paused. "Speaking of which, I'm starving. Know of anywhere we could go grab breakfast?"

"Normal- ha, a word I've never been able to say about myself." Leo rolled his eyes, glancing at her with a small huff. He forsaw painful futures ahead with the look on her face. "Wait wait, if I don't- nevermind, I'm going to so those things anyway, but it would be VERY unhelpful for you to speed up the process!" He complained. "I really wouldn't mind the company, but the bone smashing? I kind of mind that, a little Itty tiny bit." He snorted, really wanting to keep himself as intact as possible. At her next words, he let out a small chuckle. "There is one place to eat on this campus- the giant cafeteria thingy if you could even call it that. That's your choice. Of course, there's one small diner in town, and one bustling restaurant/bar that I would not suggest going anywhere near unless you AREN'T broken like a pinata." He explained to the best of his abilities, memories trickling back from the last time he went to Rudy's, the restaurant/bar. It was a terrible idea, as he happened to go at a bad time, and literally just ended up getting in a fight with a bunch of VERY drunk idiots that probably didn't even feel pain. So, really, it was a bad night for him. Shifting his focus off of that, he stifled a yawn, still waking up. It was much too early for his liking.

Glory stifled a laugh and replied, "Oh, are you sure? You seem to enjoy bone smashing! But fine, I won't make it too much worse. Maybe I'll just dislocate your fingers instead." She joked, smirking. "No, not the food-fighting arena here, please. And I think it's too early to pay tribute to Dionysus.... I kinda feel like hot chocolate and a donut or something. Let's go to the diner." She said with a smile.
