Glory smirked and retorted, "Well, it wouldn't be an entirely unreasonable guess."

Following Leo out of the room, they made their way carefully up the stairs. "Actually, I did know that. Somewhat, at least." Glory waited while Leo changed his clothes, leaning on the wall opposite his door. When he came back out, she nodded. "Yep. Let's go, then." Setting off at a somewhat leisurely pace back down the stairs, out one of the exits, and out into the mid-afternoon sun. Gloey took a deep breath, ignoring her injuries. "Hmm, I'd have preferred if it was a little later, but I suppose very few stores would be open if it was. I find it so strange how much people don't like darkness, especially when it's so sudden and total it makes them fear they've died already." She quipped, smirking slightly as she cast Leo a sidelong glance.

keres stood in the doorway almost getting her face scrached competly off by the cat as leo threw a fit about a shirt she stepped out of the way so they could walk through "small warning you will be mobbed as soon as you two show your faces" she put the cat down and watched as it waeved under glorys legs and into the medic room to hide from the chaos she pointed at him "hes my whitness" she joked before pulling a throwing nife out of her poket and handing it to glory "i belive this is one of yours" she frowned "mine shattered and the other three are in place so its not mine"

"Yes it would!" Leo protested, sending a playful glare her way.

After he had exited the room, he didn't do TOO terribly walking out, although he looked a little drunk as he stumbled around. Quickly, though, his head started to clear, which meant the world stopped spinning. As they emerged into the sun, he squinted slightly, his pupils dilating even more, till they were barely visible. His eyes just looked golden with no black. "Yeesh. It is too bright. I find it funny, for how red and golden I am, I am so sensitive to light." He winced, though he was glad to be out in the fresh air. At her rather... morbid words, he arched an eyebrow. "Honestly... I agree with you. Mostly. However, my favorite time of day is right when the sun is dipping below the horizon. It isn't too bright, but the sunset as always beautiful." He answered with a small smile, heading off the campus, towards the town, that thankfully really wasn't too far.

Glory tilted her head and repeated, "Red and golden? I'd say red and broken more like it, given the unfortunate state of your skeleton." With a hint of playful sarcasm. As he continued, she nodded in agreement. "I hope we got to see it on our way back, I've missed it so much."

They continued off toward town, Glory wishing she could darken the sky even just a little bit, but she still wasn't able to grab hold of more than a few threads of darkness. After about the third try, she gave up. It'd probably take another day or so to be able to darken more than a broom closet.

Leo pressed his lips together and closed his eyes for a couple seconds, trying his absolute hardest not to laugh, as he knew it would break his skeleton more, but after a second, he let out choked bouts of laughter. "Owow- stop being funny, it hurts." He joked with a grin, continuing his ambling limp towards the town. "My eyes are not broken thank you very much, and they're the only part of me that's golden- I think- so more like red, golden, and broken. All three." He huffed jokingly, wishing this fun banter wasn't so PAINFUL. "Me too. It sure is a great work of art." He commented, then proceeded to focus on putting one foot in front of the other. After a couple seconds, he decided, if he couldn't Conjure things he could at least try his other minor. Opening his Empathy power, all he could feel were waves of amusement from Glory, so obviously it was working, but not very well. He tried altering his own emotions, as he didn't want to experiment on poor Glory. After a second he started to feel more... giddy? What the hail? He was trying to make himself feel sad! "Obviously my powers aren't fully working." He mused under his breath, thinking as the town came into sight.

Glory let out a giggle, glad to see Leo in good spirits. "I would be impressed if you managed to break your eyes somehow. Fine then, red, golden, and broken it is." She replied with a grin. It felt wonderful to be out of the boring infirmary, she just wished it didn't hurt so much.

Leo went quiet for a moment, and Glory glanced at him, noting how he seemed to be concentrating on something else now. She heard him mutter something softly, but couldn't quite make out what he'd said. "What was that?" She asked.

(Not an arsonist, but she might be 78 years old when you get back :D)

"I could manage to break my eyes! I'm pretty sure I could break ANYTHING. Plus, where there's a will, there's a way." Leo grinned widely. "All this bright light just might break my eyes, though. Yeesh." He winced as he glanced upward. The blue sky seemed to be glowing neon. Truthfully, he had actually scared some people, as they thought he went blind or something because of how small his pupils got. It was quite hilarious to watch. He stretched his arm to the side with a yawn, glad to be able to MOVE. Yeah, it sucked he had a hole in his leg that was wrapped tight enough to make his leg go numb, but at least he was alive. At her question, he glanced back over, tilting his head in question before figuring out what she meant. "Oh- nothing, I was just figuring out my Empathy doesn't really work either. All I can get are some super amused vibes from you." He joked with a chuckle. He was a bit relieved when they made it to the town, as he was the tiniest bit tired of dragging his leg everywhere and limping and looking adequately drunk. Now, Leo hung back slightly so Glory could lead the way, as she said she needed to get her cape thingy fixed.

"I would normally do something about that, but I feel like I've pissed the darkness off or something; it's not behaving in the slightest." Glory said, sighing. Glory saw him tilt his head, confused, before figuring out what she meant.

"At least it's working somewhat." Glory replied, shooting an annoyed glance into the shade of the trees.

It's acting like a disobedient animal or something, Glory thought.

When they reached town, Leo let her take the lead, assuming she knew where to go. She stopped and looked at him, saying "I have no clue where to go. I've been here maybe once or twice, I figured you'd know where something was, at least." Wandering around looking for the right place did not sound like a fun idea.

THAT... would be really weird. You don't have to worry about that. His GREAT-grandma, however.... *evil laughter*

Leo had the dignity to look a little sympathetic. He understood the frustrations of nothing ever working. "Somewhat." He said drily. "If I tried to twist someone's emotions to feel overwhelmed, it'd probably make them more confident! I swear, sometimes I'm pretty sure the entire world is against me." He huffed. A fluffy, nice thought crept into his head- he liked having someone to talk to and joke around with, for once. Glory was kind... for the most part, anyway. She was funny, smart, a good fighter- and he needed to stop thinking about that before he ran into something. Stupid brain. Refocusing, he huffed quietly again, slightly annoyed that it was THAT easy to drag his mind off of important matters and onto tiny unimportant things like that. As she stopped, he did as well, muffling a snort at her words. "This way, then." He headed towards a small seamstress' shop, the best in town, in his opinion. He had to have so many things sewn back together, the people who worked at the shop were like old friends.
