Lieutenant Dwyer Glory looked at the floor, and shook her head slightly. When she looked up at him again, she said, "And, let me guess, you would rather be out there fighting than having someone take a look at you. Just promise me you'll take at least a week to recover before doing anything strenuous, and please go see the nurse at the very least. I'd rather you not get yourself killed before I can beat you in a duel, okay?" He better not do anything stupid. Well, anything else, that is. Glory thought. Maybe she'd go out and check the situation, if just to ease his nerves. |

General Anubis +++ Leo nodded enthusiastically at her first words. "Exactly! You understand, now." He quipped with a small smile, never not in the mood for a good joke. At her next sentence he frowned, which was surprising, because it was rare to ever see him frown. He did scowl at Romanov, though. "However much I am endeared by your concern, you of all people should know I can't take a whole week off. The ceremony day is in 3 days, and I have to be patrolling and ridding the forests of the Corrupted, or otherwise there won't BE a ceremony." He said quietly, his voice dead serious. Which also rarely happened. "I'll see the nurse, and hopefully they can do something about it, but the most I can do is a good night's sleep." Leo smiled faintly at her last words. "I won't get killed before another duel, but I can't garuntee that I won't get killed before you beat me in another duel. It may take a while, Dwyer." He grinned, though it was the slightest bit more strained than usual. |

'General Simara' Adder Simara' -x- Adder looked around, her feet moving and her body curled with power. Her dragon avatar decided to appear. Adder roared, her emerald scaled glittering in the dappled light before surging forward. It was time to hunt some corrupted ones. -x- 'Sector leader Simara' Ozark Simara' -x- Ozark choked on his coffee, "what?" He said, rising from his seat with her, "let me help!" He said, if General Rouge was in trouble or hurt... Well, he tried not to think about it. But, General Rouge obviously didn't feel the same way about him, but that wouldn't stop him from helping him. |

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory grinned at his excitement to get out and fight things, but wished he'd just take a break every now and then. "Alright then, rest well tonight and visit the nurse tomorrow, I'll cover your patrols. Don't look at me like that, I'll be better equipped for battle than I was when you kicked my ass, alright? I'm leaving at dusk, and I'll be back at dawn to give you a detailed report on all my heroic slaying of the Corrupted," Glory said, and she couldn't help but grin at her last sentence. This'll be entertaining, she thought. Now let's just hope he actually rests. |

'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- "Juliet. Why the hell are you here?" He asked in annoyance, wrapping his major wounds in shadow like bandages and straightening up. She glared at him. "Uncle, your literally bleeding! I'm helping." Adrien rolled his eyes and was going to reply when he heard a noise, he grabbed Julie's arm and pulled her back behind him. Pushing her back. "Well then shift and let's get to it!" He snapped, shifting into his form and lunging at the corrupted that had just appeared from the forest. . 'Sector 2 leader Romanov' Juliet Romanov -x- Juliet glared at her Uncle Adrien when he spoke, but when she was yanked behind him and he yelled at her to, change. She did. She shifted into her dragon form, shining, slippery blue scales lined her body and she flicked her tail, matching her uncle's (and father's) spiked tail. Adrien was clawing and biting at the corrupted one, so Juliet lunged at it to, biting at its neck. She didn't let go until she heard the crack that meant it was down. She sprung back and her Uncle flipped it slightly and bit into its neck, making sure it was dead before he moved back and went to Juliet, both watching each other's back. Juliet though, did not think anyone had followed her. Oops? |

General Anubis +++ Leo cast a sideways look at her words, huffing quietly. He didn't want her to take over his patrols, because if she got injured doing a job he was supposed to be doing he would never forgive himself. Plus, she was hurt too! Her second to last sentence only brought a flicker of a smile to his face, and it didn't grow much larger than that with her last sentence, either. "If your heroic slaying of the Corrupted puts a SINGLE scratch on you that should've been on me I'm NEVER SLEEPING AGAIN." He finally sighed, which was like his version of giving up. "I do not want you getting hurt because I did something stupid and am not paying the price. So please, please, PLEASE be careful, for the sake of my guilty conscience?" He asked with a flicker of a smile, but mostly his eyes were pleading as he looked at her. It was extremely hard for him to just stay behind when he knew everything that was happening, when he knew people were getting hurt, when he knew the Corrupted were roaming around. |

'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- Adrien growled out when he looked around. He saw one and snapped, yanking it down with shadows, this one looked stronger, more advanced. he probed into its mind and found something. Well, shit. He thought and looked at Juliet quickly, keeping the corrupted one tied down. "Juliet, stay on the lookout, and cover me for a moment." He told her, focusing on something, broadcasting. To everyone. {They are trying to attack us all at once, do not go off on your own.} He thought, he saw Juliet's eyes widen and she looked at him. "REALLY?" She asked in surprise. He flinched at the nose and nodded, looking back at the corrupted one he had held down still, he stabbed a spike through it's neck and heard a crash, he walked over and stuck his hand in the wound using his minor ability. It began cracking to stone, not the whole thing. But most of the inside of it's neck. he took a breath and snapped, retracting his shadows from the corrupted one and walking back over to Juliet. She had gotten some water somewhere and was throwing the boiling material between her hands. Adrien and Juliet were back to back, looking around skeptically as they listened. Adrien's head hurt like hell, but he was not about to stop fighting for a petty migraine. . 'Sector 2 leader Romanov' Juliet Romanov -x- Juliet was in slight shock, so many corrupted ones? Here? This hadn't happened in years, well, that's what she was told. She looked around and heard nothing, she spread the water out and blew it out, letting it spread out around them as a sort of... traps. It was boiling water, if something hit it it would make a noise. She looked at her Uncle and eyed him up and down. He was in a fighting stance, black shadows wrapped around most of his body. He had no shirt on, but he still had on his combat boots, gloves, and pants. So that was good. She turned back around quickly when he gave her a side. She kept her eyes on the forest around them as her Uncle did as well. |

General Anubis +++ Leo was about to say something else when he heard a crash and Romanov's loud voice screeched through his mind. "The Corrupted are this close already!?" He exclaimed, casting an apologetic glance at Dwyer. "I can't wait overnight. Not right now." He grabbed the belt of daggers off of the wall and started forward before halting with a wince. "Since I can't go charging in alone, can you please come help me? It looks like we have some Corrupted to kill." |

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory heard in her head, {They are trying to attack us all at once, do not go off on your own.} and decided it would be a terrible idea for Anubis to go anywhere by himself, even if he was meeting up with others. Glory gave him a wide grin, saying "I'd have gone with you whether you asked me to or not, lurking's kinda my thing, remember? But can we make a quick stop at my room? It won't take long, I just need my shortsword and a few throwing knives." Hopefully she wouldn't need much else, but given the situation, she probably would. |
