The topic changed to family and Pearl listened quietly. Compared to the others, her family had been pretty good. She remembered a few memories of her childhood but the earliest months were blurry. "Did any of you have siblings? I had three of the most annoying Walitons you could ever meet as my siblings."

Diablo snapped his head sideways, hearing a deer. He crouched, taking in a silent breath, and shifting invisible. Silently walking up behind it, he decided to have a little fun before he went back. "Boo." He whispered. The deer jumped, whirling around and staring at him, but seeing nothing. "Sorry mate." Diablo killed it painlessly, then brought both things back and became un-invisible once he was back laying down. "I brought some food for whoever wants it." he said quietly.

Az crept forward and ripped a deer leg off, using his sharp teeth, "thank you Diablo" he tried to say through the deer fur, but it's came out like "tanHanlooo looo Daaabloo" Az chewed on the leg, the fresh blood, soaking his mouth and his whole muzzle, the blood sprayed onto some of his mane and the tuft of fur under his chin

echo looked at pearl "i had a sister..............." she choked up then looked at az she was trying to firgur out what he said

As she took a bite of deer meat, she was trying to figure out what Az had said. She swallowed and carried on speaking. "You know, they weren't actually my real siblings. I was kinda left as an egg, that's what I was told, and my 'mother' found me and decided to look after me." She took another mouthful of meat. "But she might as well have been my real mother. She seemed like it."

echo nodded then changed the subgect "any of you have some sort of scar that tells a story" she said turning around and sitting next to az still trying to figure out what he said

He was silent during this discussion, but when Echo changed the subject he brightened. "I definitely do. When I was really young.. one of the times I had escaped from the Hatchery and no one could find me... I wandered close to a human city. A big one, too, with lots of soldiers roaming literally everywhere. Well, they found me and were obviously terrified, even though I was only as big as a great Dane or so. Took their spears and made this big scar before I was able to get away." He hopped up on his hind legs to expose the lighter Grey flesh of his stomach where a long, jagged scar ran from his chest down almost to the middle of his stomach.

echo looked at the scar "ha thats nothing i wanderd of when i was 45 years old and my father set me on fire " she picked up her wings to she white scorch marks then shook the fluff away form he purple eye there wash a burn mark there "now im blind out of this eye" she tucked her wings back in

The black dragon winced when the burn marks were shown. As a Devilion, who were meant to live in or around volcanoes, he couldn't be burnt... but it still looked quite painful. "That's... not good." He commented slowly, fluffing up his wings. It was weird having most of his body being scales yet just his wings were all feathery. "I guess this isn't really a scar, but my mom did this..." He lifted his neck a little, and right at the base there was two black holes with black... vein looking things creeping away. It trailed almost all the way up his neck and down into his chest. "She poisoned me the 4th time I tried to get away.. after that it was into the hatchery I went and i never saw her again. Suited me just fine. Still hurts when I eat or drink, though, and when it gets cold it burns like agony." Diablo explained, having not touched the food this whole time.

Pearl winced as she saw the burn marks on Echo's wing. That must have hurt. "Now you made me feel bad about soaking you with cold water," she said after Diablo spoke. "I don't really have any scars except this one under my chin. When I was a hatchling, I was playing outside when this huge dragon, who must have only been pretty young, came and attacked me but I managed to get away before he could do any real damage."
