Az laughed again, "nah, that would be my mane, maybe the softest thing on me" he said, putting his head on his talons

"your still a good pilow" she said letting her ears flop laying so her heads on his back and her bodys on the ground

"Okay truce. But I swear if you put this sticky stuff on me again, you'll never be dry for the rest of your life! And water is just fun. Ice would hurt and I don't hate you that much." Pearl sprayed herself with water and shook herself to get dry again, hoping a little would go on Diablo, just to annoy him. She glanced over at Echo and Az. She laughed quietly. "Who knew Echo, the one who said they would haunt you, had a soft spot for Az?" she said to Diablo.

"And I swear if you ever completely drench me with water again I will PARALYZE YOU IN YOUR SLEEP." Diablo was content with the truce at this point, but even though he didn't know Pearl well he guessed it wouldn't last too long. "Ice would hurt more than you can even imagine. Devilions usually live near volcanoes- they are supposed to be in extreme heat. I've adapted to the moderate temperatures of the forest, but honestly swimming in water feels like swimming in ice cubes. If you ACTUALLY put ice on me I would pass out, my body temperatures would plummet, and I might go into a coma depending on how long it is there." He explained cheerfully, ruffling the feathers on his wings as Pearl spoke more quietly about Echo and Az. "Who knew. And who knew the first way I get greeted would be to be frozen half to death by a dragon I thought wasn't too bad. I guess the world just isn't as it seems." Diablo sighed dramatically, the joking tone laid thick in his voice.

echo rolled over he ears swiveld "i will still haunt you" she said rolling her eyes she stood up and shook her head

"Oh, that's nice to know if I ever face against an actually dangerous Devilion. You know, a coma wouldn't be so bad. It'd give my ears a break," she joked. Echo seemed to have heard them. "HA!" She said to Diablo. "She threatened YOU but not me!" She looked at Echo. "Still, anyone can see that you like Az. No offence! I don't want to be haunted too." Pearl nudged Diablo. "No need for the dramatic sigh. We all know what an actor you are. I mean, you can pretend that Revenge actually likes you, which is pretty hard!"

Az eyes started to shut, he was falling asleep, not paying attention to the voices around him, he finally started to snore softly.

The spikes on Diablo's neck stood up straight like raised hackles, making him look like an indignant ostrich. "I beg your pardon, I can be scary if I WANTED to. I mean, it can't be that hard to scare a Waliton." he grinned, snickering. "THREATEN ME ALL YOU WANT ECHO, I STILL DON'T CARE." Diablo snorted heavily, his slim face bobbing. He couldn't help a sly smile as Pearl talked to Echo, covering his face with a paw. "Oh dear me, me oh my, I wouldn't ever want to be caught saying that around her great Majesty Echo, no no I might just get HAUNTED." He battedhis eyelashes and put on a high-pitched, girly voice, giggling. A second later the facade was over and Diablo was laughing. "I am a suberb actor, and Revenge DOES like me. I'm not dead, that's how I can tell. She likes you too, Pearl- you called her old and YOU are not dead." He smirked.

Peael spread her wings out, hitting Diablo on the nose. "Please, you're about as scary as the mice that Az hates. You could never look SCARY. I mean, annoying, mischievous, naughty but definitely not scary." Pearl started laughing as Diablo put on a high pitched voice. "I know Revenge loves me but she probably didn't want to get her claws dirty dealing with you."

Diablo honked like a goose being strangled when he got whacked on the nose- what could he say, weird noises were his thing. "I am UTTERLY TERRIFYING. WHEN I WANT TO BE." He huffed. "If I actually am protecting someone I care about, which was really hard up till now because I had no one to care about, I can be SUPER scary and VERY lethal. Believe me, I am a Lethal Weapon when it comes to protecting." He sniffed, lifting his snout. "i am annoying, mischevious, and naughty, but I am ALSO scary at various times." Diablo grinned, his tail twitching. "No one ever seems to want to get their claws dirty dealing with me." he sighed, looking dramatically injured. "No ones cares if I even exist. WOE AM I!!!" He fell backwards with a thump, clutching his chest, then letyting his tongue hang out of his mouth and going limp. "Gurgle gurgle DEATH"
