𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖗𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝕱𝖆𝖗𝖒𝖘 - Six years ago, Starlight Farms was one of the largest show strings in the world, with every horse breed you could imagine being trained and bred there. But after a bad car crash, the owners couldn't stand to be around horses anmore and they sold Starlight Farms. Last year, the place was started up again when it was bought by a retired Olympic trainer, Nathaniel Walker. He hired two young riders who were just out of high school to help re-start Starlight Farms, in hopes that they could make it into a renowned equestrian facility again. - - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 Starlight Farms is equipped with enough room to stall more than 250 horses and house nearly 50 riders. Some of the assets include: - . 5 total barns with 50 stalls each . 3 of those barns are too run-down to be used, one is being worked on, and the last has recently been remodeled and is open for use . 10 cabins for riders to stay in, each has 5 bedrooms with an attached bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and storage space. . 5 indoor arenas connected to the barns . 3 larger outdoor arenas . 10 round pens . 2 large pastures (can hold up to 15 horses each) and 10 smaller pastures (can hold up to 5 horses each) . other buildings such as a riders' lounge, a wash room building, and lots of storage sheds . enough land around it for multiple cross-country courses and trails - - 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Nathaniel bought six horses to house at Starlight Farms to be trained by the two new recruits, and the young trainers are also allowed to bring one of their own horses along with them. The workers will each be designated three of the six horses to take care for and train themselves, though Nathaniel will have them switch it up sometimes to get the horses a wide range of experience. - - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 Nathaniel bought each of these six horses from the same place; a breeding center that did not want them because they weren't learning fast enough for their taste. They all have had basic training such as being broken in, trailering, desensitizing to some objects, and they have started groundwork under saddle and in-hand work. - Show Name: Greyscale Flower Barn Name: Flower Age: 6 years old Gender: Mare Breed: Paint Horse Appearance: Flower is a sleek, black-and-white paint mare with blue eyes. She is your average Paint Horse, standing at 15.2 hands tall and weighing about 1,100 lbs. She has a graceful head and a short neck. Personality: Flower is a surprisingly calm horse for being only 6 years old. She is willing to do anything you ask and ready to learn new things. She would prefer to be back in her stall gossiping with her friends but is willing to enter the arena and work. Likes: Flower likes being brushed, trotting VERY slowly, eating grass, and apples. Dislikes: Flower dislikes going fast, other mares (if they are the slightest bit mean to her), and rain. Other: Flower can be ridden Western or English. - Show Name: Cappuccino Barn Name: Captain, Cap Age: 5 years old Gender: Gelding Breed: Morab Appearance: Cap is a light bay gelding with a stripe on his face and one sock on his left front leg. He has brown eyes and stands at 14.8 hands tall. He weighs 917 lbs and has a short, strong back. Personality: Cap is a very playful horse. He is as polite as you would expect when being ridden or handled, but will suddenly burst into a canter if he feels like it. He will show off his no-so-impressive skills as often as he can and is always eager to get moving. Likes: Cap likes to tease other horses, buck in the pasture, go fast, and show off. He stands taller than most Arabs at 14.8 hands, and weighs 1,068 lbs. Personality: Monty is an aloof Gelding. He is much like a cat in every way. He won't pay attention to you until he wants to, which isn't very often. He prefers to be left alone, but once you do get him paying attention (which usually requires lots of complicate warm-up maneuvers), he will float across the ground and behave perfectly. Likes: Baths, ignoring people and other horses, and hay. Dislikes: Grain, being forced to do things, and being groomed. Other: Vermont is mainly ridden English but is good in Western too. - Show Name: Dust it Off Barn Name: Rosie/Rose Age: 6 Gender: Mare Breed: Appaloosa Appearance: Rosie is a red roan mare with a small blanket pattern over her hips, standing at 15 hands and weighing 1,100 lbs. Personality: Rosie is perfect temperment-wise. She is willing, friendly, and calm. Once in the arena she behaves wonderfully and will do everything you ask-- if you know how to ask her. Rosie was trained very strangely and responds differently to cues than other horses would. It takes a very special rider to ride her well. Likes: Attention, other horses, and warm weather. Dislikes: Snow, not knowing where she's going or what she's doing, and male riders. Other: Rosie is a Western horse. She has not been trained in English riding. - Show Name: Sweet Rival Victory Barn Name: Victor/Vic Age: 3 years old Gender: Gelding Breed: Orlov Trotter Appearance: Victory is a beautiful dapple gray Gelding. He stands at 16 hands and weighs 1,000 lbs. His luxurious mane and tail are varying shades of gray. Personality: Victory is a huge sweetheart. He will nudge you, rub on you, and even lick you! He has huge strides and is willing to do practically anything. He is an angel on the ground with in-hand work but is trickier to ride. He needs specific cues and if you are anxious, he will become flighty and hgih-strung. Likes: Vic enjoys carrots, jumping, and being with other horses. Dislikes: He dislikes mean horses, trailering, and being cooped up in a stall. Other: Victory is mainly an English horse. - Show Name: Golden Debt Barn Name: Debbie Age: 10 years old Gender: Mare Breed: Anglo-Arabian Appearance: Debbie is a chestnut mare, but her coat looks golden in the sun. She has piercing blue eyes and a perfect star on her forehead. She has no leg markings and very strong feet. Personality: Despite her angelic look, Debbie is a little monster. She will destroy anything she can and is always moody. She'll throw fits if she doesn't want to do something, and has bucked off many a rider. Likes: Debbie loves her treats and will be very rude when she wants more. Dislikes: Having to get out of her stall, other horses (especially ponies), and being ridden. Other: Debbie can be ridden English or Western - Flower, Debbie, and Cap are under Jordan's care. Vermont, Rosie, and Victor are under Cash's care. Edited at March 21, 2025 01:18 PM by Fantasy Horses

Drumroll, please... - - - HUMAN FORM Name: Jordan Solace Age: 20 Height: 5' 9'' Appearance: Jordan has light brown hair that looks blonde in the sunlight. Her eyes are brown, and her skin, although naturally pretty light, is always tanned from hours of work under the sun. Jordan can often be seen wearing cowboy boots or rain boots, denim coveralls, and a cowboy hat on her head. She wears jewelry, but only golden. Don't ask her why. She is never seen without a cross necklace around her neck and some kind of nature earrings and rings. Jordan cannot stand bracelets. Her hair is always either in a french braid or up in a messy bun. Personality: Jordan is a work, work, work type of person. If she isn't doing anything, she isn't happy. She'll go to bed at 11:00, get 5 hours of sleep, wake up at 4:00, and after drinking a cup of tea, she'll be ready to go. Aside from her get-up-and-go philosophy, Jordan is a quick-to-act, sharp-minded girl. She won't hesitate to tell you if you're wrong and what you're wrong about, but she'll leave it up to you to fix it. She can have a smart mouth, but focuses mainly on physical work rather than bullying or gossiping. Jordan discovered in college that humans shouldn't be trusted and that animals were steady, trustworthy creatures. Since then she avoids making friends and is very independent. If you ask her if she needs help, the answer will always be no. When people approach Jordan they either walk away, dejected, after she snaps at them to go away, or keep trying to talk to her, getting more frustrated every time she nonchalantly ignores them. In summary, Jordan is a smart, independent, and sassy worker bee. Backstory: As the youngest of four children, Jordan grew up in a family that didn't last long. When she was only 5, her parents got divorced, her three siblings left home, and their house was sold. Jordan was forced to live with a farmer who wanted nothing but perfection. He was the one who taught her that working your bones off was the only way to earn a living. Jordan learned to ride her first horse to rope and herd cows when she was only 7 years old. After 8 years of living and working for that man, she had finally earned enough money to go to veterinary school. After 3 years of studying, Jordan graduated early and found work at a horse training facility, and she worked there for 3 more years. She got promoted nearly once every 4 months, and was soon the best horse trainer at the ranch. And then, two months ago, Jordan was told that she had gotten the job to work at this old stable, to help it rise to the top again. Jordan had no choice but to accept. Other: Jordan's favorite kind of food is fruit. And dessert, of course. her favorite color is teal. - - - HORSE FORM Name: Better Look Twice "Jax" Gender: Gelding Breed: Mustang Age: 5 years old Height: 15.7 hands Appearance: Jax is a simple Buckskin coloring with a right front and two back socks. Jax has a small muzzle and a wide forehead, with finely built hindquarters and a short neck. Jax has very strong hooves and is very surefooted. Personality: Jax is your average 5-year-old gelding. He's curious, adveturous, and always hungry! But he is very reliable and is very hard to spook. Always eager to learn, Jax has trouble standing still and will nip, kick, and make noise if he is bored. Although flightly and antsy on the ground, once you get on him he is a perfect angel. Well, not really. He doesn't like bending and is ready to run. He is very sensitive to any direction, and will often overthink and get fired up if he's annoyed. Backstory: Jax was born into a herd of feral Mustangs and was rounded up and sold at an auction when he was 2 years old. Jordan happened to be there and saw Jax's potential, bought him, and since then Jordan has broken in, trained, and desensitized Jax herself.
