Recap: the leader from a rival clan is forced to give up one of his own kits to another in order for the rival clan to not attack them. Said kit then meets the son/daughter of the leader of the clan they've been taken by and falls for them, while the other cat does not. Anything after that is up to interpretation! |

"Take care of her..." The tom said gently to the rival warrior, he was skinny and unfit for battle just as the rest of the clan, the river they normally fed from barely held enough water for them to drink nevermind fish... it had been dammed by some bevers and the only water access was in the rival clans territory... an apprentice from his clan was just looking for food so he'd wandered into the other clans territory which caught he attention of a patrol on the border which lead to an attack on his clan only... they weren't worth fighting at the moment... they were all terribly thin and quite honestly pathetic looking... but the clan who resides mostly in the shade needed their pound of flesh... one life in exchange for many so they came up with an agreement, the leaders had determined that one of the leaders kits must be given to the clan who resided in the shade. He hated it but he had to put his starving clan first... he'd seen far to many of his clannmates die of starvation already his clan was on the brink of dying out, in exchange they were allowed to fish and from where the river was blocked until the dam broke or they broke it themselves. "One life for many..." the Tom said as he watched the warriors take the freshly weaned tiny calico coated kit back to their clan. |

A dark grey cat with light yellow eyes, a tom to be specific, watched as his elder clan cats snickered as the tiny calico kitten was held in his fathers muzzle as it was carried over their own borders. The cats around him rejoiced at having won a war that'd been going on for quite some time now, but he didn't know anything about that. His mother, the Queen, had made sure he hadn't, well, up until now of course. "Who's that kit?" He looked up at the other kits who were sitting beside him, watching with confusion. None of them could answer him. So he sat, watching the tiny kit. |

The female warrior purred "Curious are we?" She asked glancing at the tiny she kit in her leaders jaws "This is Hazel Kit." She said simply "She'll be staying with us from now on." She told him "The rest will be for your mother and father to explain." She nodded padding off to greet her mate. When Hazel Kit was set down she looked up at the other cats her Hazel eyes looking up nervously as she made herself even smaller her ears flat on her head... she was terrified... she didn't know these cats... she was taken from everything she ever knew and at such a young age. |

The Tom snuffled, hurrying down the ledge he'd been perched on with Warrior cat to make his way through a crowd of cats watching the spectacle. His father, Tigerscar, stood over Hazelkit, almost protectively."Everyone," he suddenly spoke." As rewards for our hard labour we've won this battle. And we seem to have acquired a new member of our group as well." He gestured to the kit beneath him." We will treat her as our own, raise her to be a fierce she-cat, and thrive. I expect you all to accept her." He huffed, his head tilting as he stared curiously at the kit. |

The young apprentices gawked over the little kitten "She's so cute!" Hare paw mewed getting down to HazelKits level looking up at the leader "I'll show her around!" She chirped happily. The kits ears going up a bit, she seemed friendly enough... she glanced at the voice above her then to the male kit in front of her "Hello..." She mewed shyly. |

Tigerscar huffed at the young apprentice, nudging her away from Hazelkit and the small tom." Harepaw, not so fast. Both Hazelkit and Quickkit are needed elsewhere at the moment. And Quickkit isn't even supposed to be down here, unless what his mom told me was just a joke." Tigerscar smirked at his kit, who hunched back while chuckling nervously. "Oops?" He meowed before his dad merely shook his head and chuckled, lifting Hazelkit in his maw and bumping against Quickkit's side as he passed by. "Let's go find your Mom. She promised I'd bring Hazelkit straight to her." (Do you want to play as the mother?) |

Sure :)) Hazelkit winced a little as she was picked up more out of fear then anything else she didn't know these cats. When she was taken to the nursery a mousy grey she cat greeted them dipping her head "Tigerscar..." She said perking up at the tiny kit in his jaws "Oh is this the kit?" She asked with a purr to her voice "Oh she's lovely... hi there little one! I'm Violet claw." She said happily "I'll look after you until you're able to hunt for yourself." She assured happily "In fact FinKit and PikeKit are having breakfast now if you'd like to join them." She offered. (You can do a time skip if needed :)) |

Quickkit watched as his mother interacted with the kit, before turning to find his siblings. Quickly he lost interest in the new kit, and decidedly went about annoying his siblings. Tigerscar watched Quickkit run off, chuckling at the small Tom." He gets that from you." He shook his head as he turned back to Bioletclaw and Hazelkit. Gently, he nuzzled the kits side." Go on. Quickkit is the only rough one out of the bunch." |

HazelKit nodded and went to join the others to eat, she greeted the other kits before she started eating mouthfuls of food VioletClaw watching over the three kits with a purr of amusement. After their meal Hazel kit had started playing with the other kits the three of them playfully tackling and nipping at eachother before she noticed QuickKit and bounded over to him pouncing on his tail playfully "Hi!" She mewed playfully. |
