Amira nodded, walking to the bedroom and flopping onto the bed. She curled up and nearly fell asleep right away

Sage moved to shower quickly and get ready for bed before crawling into and curling up with her gently, so as not to wake her.

Amira felt his arms around her, but didn't stir. She didn't have any dream, just some rest for the first time in a while

Sage settled down pretty quickly. It didn't take long after that for him to fall asleep, either.

Amira woke the next morning and sighed quietly, wiggling out of Sage's arms and kissing his cheek before going to silenty get dressed and ready for the day of work ahead. She grabbed her keys, not eating, and got into the care before driving off

Sage didn't wake when she woke, as the normal routine happened. He woke up eventually though, texting her a good morning before getting to get some things done himself.

Amira saw the text as she parked her car. She texted a good morning to him and walked in, immedietly swarmed with people handing her papers and telling her things they wanted her to do. She sighed. Sage was right, she needed to quit and do something she enjoyed.

Sage noticed her text, and smiled, knowing she'd made it to work safely. Once he'd gotten ready and eaten soemthing, he moved to just work at painting the next few orders he had to get done.
