The woman gave a grin to the doctor, nodding in agreement. She loved the boy, but she had to admit it was hard to like him at the start. She was glad that had changed, though. She hummed gently before moving to look at Sage when he spoke up. "Yeah, he did," she mused lightly, folding the drawing away and putting it in her pocket. "There's loads of stuff," she mused happily. She then moved to press a light kiss to her husbands cheek as he asked for help. "Yes, but babe be careful," she mused and she hooked a hand around his side.

Sage chuckled lightly when she said that the doctor had kept all the stuff from....well, basically his childhood. It was pretty much all he'd had. He snorted lightly in response to her comment about being careful, though that admittedly made him cough a couple times before he caught his breath again and waved her concern away. "Don't worry, I don't feel like ripping my chest open at the moment," he mused lightly. "Asking you to help us me being careful," he added, sort of getting up slowly, with a grunt. He leaned on her more than he'd have liked to....but he admittedly was rather curious about what all was in that box. And he did need her....he doubted he could get there on his own. As it was, he had to plop down heavily on the chair by the box and catch his breath before wiping the sweat off his face and reaching for the box of stuff.

The woman smiled softly to him before shaking her head. "Let me know if you need anything, yes? No straining yourself, is what I mean," she mused gently to the boy. She then sort of moved to set him down in the chair next to the table before giving a small chuckle. "Just settle down," she sort of sat next to him before cocking her head. "What are you looking for," she asked curiously.

Sage sort of nodded absentmindedly in response to her comment, moving to work at opening the boxes inside the larger box up, trying to figure out exactly what the doctor had kept in there. "Not sure," he hummed. "Don't really remember what I had in there, besides a few things," he mused, still digging around in the boxes. It took more energy than he really liked it to...so he only got through about half of it before sighing and sitting back in his chair.

The woman gave a small smile before moving to run her hands over his shoulders in what she hoped to be a soothing way. She hummed gently, cocking her head a little at him. "We can have a look together if you'd like," she mused gently to him before kind of settling next to him. "Well, is there anything you'd like to find that you remember? We can have a look," she chirped softly to him.

Sage sort of peered up at Mari, giving her his normal crooked grin. "That sounds fine to me," he chirped before shaking his head with a shrug. "Not really," he noted. "Though I don't remember what I left back here so I'm sure there's something interesting in there somewhere," he chuckled. He leaned against her when she sat down next to him, already growing rather tired but he was curious...maybe with Mari helping it wouldn't be so much work.

The woman gave a little grin, sort of moving to settle down a little. "From that I remembered, there was some very interesting things in there," she hummed softly. She sort of pulled the drawing of her out her pocket before shaking her head. "Doctor found this. Apparently I've always been an Angel," she mused softly to him before moving to look through some of his things... there was a few of Mystery when she was a foal, and Att when he was a baby too. That was crazy. It had been nearly fourteen years now, since the kid was a baby. It was insane that the drawings had been here so long.

Sage chuckled and nodded when she mentioned there were some crazy things. "Im sure there were. I drew constantly and who knows where my mind was at any given moment so there was all sorts of drawing here," he mused, glancing over at the drawing Mari showed him and chuckling again. "I wondered where that one went," he mused. "You did look pretty well like an angel there," he hummed. It was probably just him being enthralled with the girl but too stubborn to admit it, but still ...the lighting made him think of that, so that's what he drew.

The woman gave a small chuckle. "The doctor made a point to hide them from me at the time. You weren't in the best of places, I don't think," she hummed gently. She was definitely happy that he was better now, though... she'd been so worried about him for a little while when they'd first met. She was still worried about him occasionally too, but so far it was all okay. Recently he'd been really good, actually. This was a set back, but he was just sick and didn't have anything to do with his mental state. "You e always been so good at drawing," she mused lightly.

Sage sort of wrinkled his nose slightly, shifting through some of the papers he'd found in the box, nodding. "Yeah....it looks like he only kept decent ones," he mentioned after a moment. "There's nothing bad I remember drawing in here," he added. "I'm not upset about it either," he half muttered, but by then he was poking around in the box again, so his mind was already on whatever else was on there. It was quite a bit of work to reach in and dig around, so he was sweaty and the stitches felt a bit more aore from the work after a while....which rather annoyed him since they'd barely done anything...but he dropped his head with a huff of air and glanced at Mari. "I think you'll have to take it from here," he murmured softly, a light flush creeping up his neck.
