"Brilliant" Matt said quietly, a small smile playing on his lips. His reaction time to what seemed like a kiss was delayed, and by the time he had realized, her lips were pressed against his neck. He inhaled sharply for a couple seconds, and slid his hands around her waist, his grip gentle but firm as she carried on. After a couple more seconds he tilted her head, his finger soft under her chin and pressed a light kiss on her lips, pulling away after a couple seconds to avoid her having time to kiss him back.

Trixie relaxed into him as his hands slid around her waist, sliding her hand down from his hair to rest on his upper arm, giving it a gentle squeeze just before he tipped her head away from his neck. She lifted her head easily for him, attempting to reciprocate it just when he pulled away. She gave a slight huff and leaned forward again, peppering little, gentle kisses essentially everywhere but his mouth.

Matt did his best to pull away from the small kisses just so he was able to fully regain composure, shielding his eyes from the flashing lights as he re opened them. "How long are we planning on staying here then?" he asked, his tone rising a little through the noise of the music. He was more than happy to stay, but Trixies friends, from what he could see, seemed to have migrated away from them and there wasn't necessarily anything else for them to do. Other than drink, of course.

Trixie let him shy off, instead resting her head on his chest. She looked up at him as he spoke, shrugging and glancing around. "However long you want, I suppose. We can drink, we can go upstairs, otherwise I don't really know why else we're here." She teased.

"Drink and then decide?" Matt asked playfully, bringing himself up from against the wall a little. He rested his hand on top of her head for a couple seconds, stroking her hair in thought. "Or we could go upstairs? Easier to talk at least" he asked, running his hand through his hair slowly as he spoke.

"That works." Trixie smiled, shifting so he could push himself off the wall. She leaned her head into his hand, closing her eyes momentarily as he spoke. "Yeah. Let's do that." She nodded, but she stayed right where she was for a few moments with his hand in her hair.

Matt nodded and smiled, manouvering himself away so he could basically gather a couple drinks, handed some to Trixie and gestured forward towards the stairs, wiping down dust off his arm. "lead the way" he smiled, his eyes scanning the people around them as he waited. As long as they had the drinks, he was sure he could stick it out for a little longer.

Trixie followed him lightly, taking the drinks he offered her easily. She shifted them in her hands so she could grab his hand, intertwining their fingers so she could lead him toward the stairs. "Your wish is my command." She smiled teasingly, weaving between people easily until they got to the staircase. She led him up quickly, having to try a few rooms before she found one that was... unoccupied. Eventually, she did.

Matt followed Trixie until she had managed to find an unoccupied room, and once they had shut the door, he turned to her, setting the drinks down next to him. "So what do you wanna do?" he asked, the sentence coming out as pretty much as it always did. He seemed to say it on instinct, pretty much. He opened his drink almost immediately, listening to the sounds of the music downstairs with slightly muffled ears.

Trixie settled her drinks down next to his, which brought her somewhat close to him. She gave a coy shrug at his question, glancing around the roo. in a mockingly innocent way. "We could play cards, maybe." She suggested teasingly, taking a step toward him as she brought her gaze to his. She reached up and started gently toying with his hair, curling it around her fingers gently.
