Sage had started to reach for the tiny appetizers on the tray Mari had brought, though at her peck and tiny movement to run his arm, he glanced over at her with a sort of lazy grin on his face. Well....he couldn't really see her since she was on his blind side, but he could still tilt his head towards her, like he normally did. "What," he hummed lightly, popping the grape in his mouth happily.

The woman gave a small hum before kind of cocking her head at him. "What?" She asked him with a small laugh before moving to peck his cheek again, sort of just not looking anywhere but him it was sort of strange, but it was just sort of like she was clamining him in a way. She didn't need to, they weren't back home where they had issues where she had to make things obvious.

Sage sort of chuckled in response to her question, shaking his head in amusement. "You act like I'm the only interesting thing in this whole place," he noted, really just teasing her lightly as he reached for another handful of fruit, rather enjoying himself. Maybe it was because the drink had relaxed his mind by now a bit, or maybe it was just because he was settling in a bit more. Probably both. But he was enjoying himself....and it seemed like Mari was too.

The woman sort of pouted at him after a moment and shrugged lightly. "You are the only interesting thing in this whole place," she chuckled lightly to him before moving to peck his lips. She took another sip of her drink, a little chuckle escaping her. "What kind of wife would I be if you weren't the most interesting thing in the entire world?" She asked lightly.

Sage sort of gave her a grin in response to her comment, a light blush forming on his face as he took the words in. "There's plenty of other interesting things," he protested with a slight chuckle, but pecked her back happily. "But thank you," he added lightly. He sipped at his drink again, leaning against her happily. "Well, probably one who would have divorced me by now," he noted with amusement. "Though, you seem to be crazy enough to have stayed this long," he teased.

The woman gave a light smile to him before sort of shrugging. "Yeah, but you're the most interesting," she mused lightly to him. It was very busy now, and she didn't much like the way people were looking at her. It wasn't malicious or anything, but she didn't like it... and she also didn't like the way her husband was being looked at. It wasn't the same as it was in the tavern, or in the streets, but it was just a bit odd. When he leaned against her she gave a little grin. "You're very welcome," she mused happily. She then cocked her head. "Well tough luck we're not getting a divorce," she mused lightly. "Please, I'm barely the crazy one," she then added with a gentle chuckle.

Sage chuckled softly and moved to peck her cheek lightly in response to her comment. He could feel people watching them....no doubt judging them, but he'd learned to just shrug off that sort of thing, as much as anyone could. Besides, he was determined to enjoy their last night out, so he simply grinned over at Mari happily. "Well, I can't say I'm not happy about that," he mused when she declared they'd not be getting a divorce. "Just a little bit," he noted with amusement.

The woman just sort of looked over at him with a bit of a grin,

moving to peck his lips again before going back to her drinks. "If you weren't happy about it we wouldn't be married in the first place," she mused lightly to him before sort of moving to lean on him. She then raised a brow at his next comment. "What do you mean, just a little bit?" She asked with a small chuckle.

Sage gave the girl his normal grin in response to her peck before chuckling and nodding with a kind of shrug. "I suppose so," he mused. "Though, knowing me is feel guilty about getting you pregnant and propose anyway," he admitted. He wrapped his arms around her happily when she leaned in, sipping at his drink again and chuckling in response to her comment. "I mean you have to be a little bit crazy to want to run a household, let alone pop out two full humans," he chirped, pecking her head lightly. "Though I'm quite glad you did," he added.

The woman sort of shook her head before sort of gasping at him. "Oh, so it wasn't that you were so completely and utterly in love with me, more so that you sorta felt bad for putting a baby in me? And so you condemned me to this awful life with you?" She mused softly to him before moving to peck his lips again. She sort of laughed when he hugged onto her, the strange looks at the two of them getting even stranger as she was sort of just tugged in again. She then raised a brow at him. "Yeah. Especially with you and your demon children," she mused lightly. "I'm just happy I only had to push two out and not three," she then laughed.
