Sage sort of grunted and nodded. "I know," he mused with a sort of chuckle. "It only happens every now and again....I just couldn't see what you were talking about and it bugged me for a second," he admitted. He moved to peck he cheek lightly after though, giving her a smile before slipping at his drink again. "I'm over it by now," he noted with a sort of chuckle.

The woman gave a little chuckle before shrugging at his little sock. She did feel kinda bad that they'd somehow managed to frustrate him. She knew it still bugged him that he could only see out of one eye, but at the end of the day it had happened saving their son... and she could only be grateful fo that, even if he didn't seem to like it all. "Good!" She chirped happily. She looked about after a moment . "You hungry?" She asked lightly.

Sage sort of slipped at his drink again before shrugging on response to her question. "I could eat," he mused lightly. "What do they have?" She'd been to the counter, so she'd have seen their signs up there, whereas he'd just sat down where he was at and hadn't moved. And he wasn't sure if they had menus here at the table or not ...he hadn't paid that much attention to it.

The woman flashed him a grin after a moment before shrugging. "They have loads, you want me to jus Thor see something I think you'll like?" She asked softly after a moment. She figured that'd work best anyway. She looked over at the counter before she got a nod from Sage, waddling up to there with a little smile across her face.

Sage chuckled lightly when she mentioned they had loads of food, and nodded happily in response to her question. "That would work," he chirped, pecking her cheek. "Surprise me with something," he added with a chuckle before settling down against the corner of the booth wall, content to just settle there and wait for the girl.

The woman sort of nodded at him after a moment and moved to peck his nose. "Oh, babe.... just relax. I'll get you something nice," she chirped softly to him before moving to peck his nose once more... she wasn't even sure why, if she was honest. She liked kissing him like that. A simple little kiss to let him know she she was reassuring her. She hummed gently and moved to peck his nose once more before going to wander up to the counter to order some food. She hummed gently as the waiter spoke to her, telling him what they wanted before waiting at the bar happily.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to her comment, grinning happily over at her in response to her kisses before just settling down again and sipped at his drink now and again as he waited for her to get back. He wasn't in a hurry or anything, so he was rather content to just relax there for a while and peer around and people watch.

The woman padded up to the bar happily, grabbing another something fruity for herself, then something else for Sage. She sort of turned to get back to the table, the now very busy bar getting even busier. A few rowdy men and flamboyantly dressed women wandered in, packing it up even more. She sort of shuffled through the crowded area quicktly, sort of stiffly as she tried to make it back to the table.

Sage watched the new people come in, wrinkling his nose slightly at their rather flirtatious and rambunctious behavior, though soon enough his attention was turned over to Mari as she came back to the table. He reached for some of the things she was holding, helping get the set down on the table so she could sit back down. Once that was done, he scooted back over so she had plenty of room to slide into the booth, and he settled back up against her side again, chirping a thanks to the girl.

The woman gave a little hum when he nestled against her side, and gave a small chuckle after a moment. It was pretty busy now, but in all fairness they were pretty safe locked away in their corner. She took a sip before moving to peck Sages cheek after a moment, sort of rubbing his arm playfully.
