He smiled and nodded at her. "I love you too. We'll build a good life together," he added with a soft hum

"I hope so" she muttered

He hummed softly and nodded. "Nothing will evver hurt our family again," he promised

Amira nodded, trusting him. She heard the weight of the promise and was so very thankful he was hers and he loved her so much

Sage just curled up tightly but moved to let himself relax again. She was alright now, so he was tired and should probably get back to sleep

Amira sighed, closing her eyes and slowly slipping back into sleep

Sage feel Sherri again quickly once they settled down again

Amira slept dreamlessly, waking up the next morning. She traced shapes on Sage's chest with a soft smile

Sage stirred slightly when he felt her fingers moving but relaxed again quickly, not waking quite yet

Amira stopped and just curled up when he stirred. She wasn't meaning to make him move. She reached over for her phone and checked the time. "Shit" She muttered, gently easing out of his arms. She didn't want to wake him, so she wrote a note. Have to go to work. Love you. -Amira She placed the note on her pillow and got dressed before grabbing her keys and heading out the door.
