Sage wheezed in response, but let his head loll back against the wall. That was all he could do...it got his head back enough for whatever Anya was going to do, however she was going to get water down his throat. But it was also leaning against the wall, because he couldn't hold it up himself for long, so he'd save that for something he might need later. Perhaps to just swallow...the energy needed for that would seem to be a lot. But he knew he would need water. If his hands were untied it would be very helpful...and he knew that while that wasn't probably gonna happen it would be nice.

Anya watched for a moment, a little hesitant as she thought about everything that could possibly go wrong. What if be choked? She didn't know how to deal with that. It seemed like everything she should know, that seemed like common knowledge, just wasn't in her head. God, she was just dim. Maybe before trying to comfort him, she could have tried to untie him, so that he could at very least have control of his arms. Then he would have been able to hold his own drink and keep his dignity while she did something about all the blood... there was so much she could have done before this, but she was just in a panic. She wanted to make sure that she herself would be alright... that hopefully she hadn't broken anything, and she had just landed funny... that it would be better in the next day or two, but that didn't seem like it'd be the case. Instead of trying to tend to her own pains, but she had for some reason gone straight to Sage, to try and help him. But she had rushed it and everything had been done in the wrong order. She took a short breath before looking at him, his head resting back like she had told him too. She felt her heart ache a little... if she had taken things slow, then maybe he wouldn't be quite so on the brink of blipping out. She shook her head slightly, almost deciding to start again. She put the lid back on the flask and put it aside. The girl didn't know what he was thinking... probably something about her being a bit of an idiot, but she was going to try her hardest for him. She reached to him and placed a soft kiss on his cheek before patting his back slightly. "I'm sorry." She whispered quietly. "But I'm going to see if I can try and untie you... so that we have a pair of hands to spare. Rather than trying to water you myself." Her voice was so low... embarrassed. She needed to make up her mind with what she was doing, and she was slowly making her way there.

Sage really didn't care one way or the other what she did...but untying his hands would probably be a good move, so he managed to grunt out... something...in response. Well, it was more of a wheeze, but whatever. At least he'd be able to prop himself up better with his hands untied, if he could gain the energy to do so. Anya was trying to help, he knew that, and really did appreciate it. But as of right now, there wasn't much either of them could do. They'd just have to last it out, wait until one of the people looking for Anya found them and got her somewhere safe. He shifted his weight slightly, so Anya could reach his wrists, though it made it harder to breathe just from the smallest movement. Man, he really was wasting away. Maybe he would die here.

Anya slipped one of her legs behind him slightly on his back so he would have something to lean on a little. She stared at the knot for a while, trying to figure out how to untie it with the one hand. Maybe she wouldn't be able to... but she would sure try and loosen the ropes off a little. Maybe if they could rip a bit of fabric up then they could use the ropes to put it on his bullet wound... maybe then they would stop any bleeding. Eventually, after about ten minutes of tugging and pulling, she managed to slip the rope over his hands. Anya let out a heavy breath at this before pulling out from behind him, keeping one hand on his back until he could lean against the wall again.

Sage winced when the air hit his wrists....the rope had been tight enough to tear skin, and bruise him pretty badly. It wasn't the first time that had happened though, so he flexed his fingers, trying to get blood flow back into his hands. He did that a few times before he grew too tired to do it anymore. Hed wait for now, maybe try and drink something, and then he'd lay back down and conserve the small amount of energy he had left. He could lay down soon, and while he trusted himself enough to rest, he also knew Anya would have to keep an eye on him, especially if he lost much more blood.

Anya sat back a little, watching him for a moment. Her heart started beating hard again, scared that she wouldn't be able to help him anymore. When they got put of here, she'd have to learn to be handier... to fix wounds and just learn to have more street sense... like Sage did. She watched him have a drink before thinking of something. "Sage, give me your shirt." She told him lightly. It wasn't a request, more of a demand. She decided that if she was going to use any kind of fabric to cover is wound with, it'd be best to use his. Mainly because it already had holes in, and there for would be much easier to rip up a bit, just enough to cover the wound and soak up any blood... she wouldn't take much off it, there would be more than enough to keep him covered up. She didn't exactly think he'd mind either. It wasn't exactly clean, but it would stop blood from pouring out of him for a little while, which was quite frankly more important than Sage being completely covered up.

Sage grunted and wiggled out of the shirt as best he could with only being able to use one arm. He winced slightly when he peeled the shirt off his shoulder and handed it to Anya tiredly. It seemed so stupid that he could barely take his shirt off without almost passing out when normally he was the stronger one. Though, Anya could be plenty strong too. He didn't really care whether he had a shirt in or not.... especially after last night. It wasn't like Anya hadn't seen him shirtless before, and he really wasn't one to get flustered over anyone else see him shirtless either ..he could honestly care less. Besides, even if he did want to refuse somehow, he didn't think Anya would really take no for an answer....she could be plenty bossy when she needed to be. And she was really only trying to help...he knew that, even with a swirling head and his vision and hearing going in and out. He trusted her.. once she'd done what she wanted he fully planned on just laying down with his head in her lap and resting, saving whatever he had left.

Anya nodded a thanks before looking the fabric over, trying to find a larger part to tear off. She put it on the ground, putting one foot on the edge and using her good hand to rip a section before folding it a few times before pressing it to his shoulder and grabbing the rope, using her shoulder to hold it in place as she wrapped it around him, using her arm to hold the end of the rope in place and tying it up with one hand. It might not be comfortable... but that didn't matter. It would stop the blood for now, until they could get some stitched in him. She tossed the shirt back before sitting against the wall, her knees slightly tucked up, leaving just enough space for Sage to rest as she pulled her sleeve up, with great struggle. She let out a course of curses, until it was most of the way up her arm. From her wrist to her upper arm, she was completely bruised and swollen... it was slightly disfigured, a ledge in her skin having formed. God, no wonder it hurt. She'd have to find a way to put it back in place at some point... but for now, she just couldn't muster the energy. She took a hand to her cheek too, which was also pretty swollen... she was covered in blood, all of it being Sages. Much unlike her normal self, this most definitely was't a pretty picture.

Sage wiggled back into his shirt as best he could. He'd normally be letting loose a string of curses, much worse than the princess's current babble of words. But not being able to fully breathe had its downsides. He paused for a moment after putting the shirt back on to lean heavily against the wall and catch his breath.

He glanced over at Anya, and even though his vision was pretty blurry, he could still make out the discolor. He reached over and grabbed her arm, feeling it out and setting it in one move. It would hurt like hell, he knew that, but it would hurt less after he got it set right. It wasn't a bad break, more like a fracture that had shifted the bone. Only one of her forearm bones had been hurt...she was lucky there...both bones being broken would have caused more issues. By then, he didn't even care about the water, he just wanted to lay down...he was trembling with exhaustion too, now, so he lowered himself with a grunt and flopped down on his back, his head resting on Anya's lap. He closed his eyes...he could afford to do that now that he'd stopped bleeding, at least mostly. He'd need the rest so he could make more if his body had enough energy and nutrients to do so. Which, he had to admit, it probably didn't have much...he'd most likely already lost what little fat he had, and his body was probably pretty empty by now. But rest would do him good anyway...he just couldn't slip into a sleep any deeper than the lightest he could muster. Preferably, he'd stay awake, but he just didn't know how long that would be possible, because now that the bleeding had stopped the panic knotting in his chest was building again.

Anya flinched as his hand came closer to her arm, yelping when he touched it then yelling at him when he popped it back into place. "Jesus fucking Christ, Sage!" She screamed at him, her eyes burning into his skin. She would have kept on cursing at him, yelling, and quite honestly she wouldn't have cared if it was just to help, but she just couldn't muster the energy. And her gaze softened when he flopped back into her back. He needed to rest, and he most definitely didn't need her shouting at him. Though, her arm was swelling up more by the second. God it hurt, but she bit her lip to try and keep quiet, forcing her pain to be exposed through another wave of tears. She hadn't cried so much in years... what was this, the fourth time tonight? But these soon dried out, and she rested her good arm softly on his side. Her hand was still drenched in his blood, which sent a vile feeling run through her. But no, she wasn't going to be sick, she just went extremely pale, and turned her gaze at the ceiling.
