The girl gave a lightly smile to him, admittedly just happy to be around him for a little bit. She did love all the little things he did... he didn't have to spend money to spoil her, if anything just liked it when he made dinner and they could cuddle up on the couch while the kids were in bed. "You know you don't have to send loads to spoil me," she mused lightly to him. She wanted to spoil him at some point too... she didn't have loads of money to do that with, so in truth she felt bad she'd never be able to do anything more than maybe make him a special meal. She looked over at him when he wrapped an arm around her, though, and sort of leaned into him. "Yeah?" She asked with a bit of a smile.

Sage just grinned back in response to the girls smile, squeezing her gently for a moment and humming in response to her comment. "I know, but I didn't really dip into the bank funds at all, so it works out fine this time," he mused lightly. "Well I did marry you," he mused in response to her other comment. "If I didn't want to spend time with you, that wouldn't have been a smart move," he chuckled.

The girl just smiled to him when he squeezed her. She didn't mind however they got his holiday... she was so grateful for it, but she could definitely admit that she was a little bit ashamed that she couldn't do anything as good for him. She the pouted at him when he tugged her in with a squeeze and moved to lean on him with a little chuckle. "I wanna take you on holiday at some point," she hummed softly. "So I can spoil you," she added with a small sort of chuckle. The then cocke her head. "Yeah by I was pregnant, you didn't have a choice," she waved him off with a sort of chuckle to show she was just teasing. "And we didn't know each other very well when you did propose," she added softly.

Sage sort of hummed lightly in response to her comment and gave her a grin. "You cook good meals that you have ready when I come in from working and you give killer back rubs," he mused. "You definitely spoil me," he chuckled softly. Though, he wrinkled his nose slightly in response to her other comments, though more in amusement that anything. "I knew you well enough to know I definitely did not mind living with you for the rest of my life," he mused softly. "That wasn't a very hard decision to make," he added with a shrug.

The girl gave a small chuckle to him after a moment before sort of popping another grape in her mouth. "If that's all it takes to spoil you I'm completely fucked," she teased softly to him before sort of moving to peck his cheek again. "I wanna do something big though," she mused lightly. She would, one day. Maybe a few years down the line... but he deserved something massive. She moved to peck his nose softly at his next comment, giving a light smile. "Well, as long as you don't mind living with me I guess we're all good," she chuckled softly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments, moving to peck her cheek lightly. "I'm sure you'll pull it off if you really want to," he hummed lightly. She could do anything she wanted to....he was quite sure of that. He chuckled slightly in response to her next comment, nodding his agreement. "I figure life's been pretty darn good with you and the kids there," he mused lightly, shifting slightly into a more comfortable position.

The woman smiled a softly and moved to peck his lips playfully. "Well... maybe not something as big as this, but I'm sure I can take us all on a little trip!" She chirped happily. In all honesty, it would probably be a little camping trip or something... maybe in a cabin with lots to do for the kids, but it was something, right? She just wanted to be able to do something nice the way Sage could. She then looked over at him with a grin. "Yeah, I suppose it has. Better than I was expecting life to be, anyway," she hummed happily.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her comment, giving her the same old goofy grin he always got when she kissed him. "That would be nice," he agreed lightly. "and once the kids are a little older, we could go to the beach all together," he chirped lightly, looking forward to sharing it to the kids. He grinned over at her in response to her last comment, nodding happily. "Considering I'd never expected to live this long, I'll say it's been pretty nice," he agreed.

The girl sort of grinned happily when he agreed, for some reason just not really expecting him to. "Oh, they'd love it!" She chirped happily to him, his goofy little grin just making her feel a little bit more elated than it maybe should have. She looked over at him with a childish pout. "Awwh, so did I make you live longer?" She asked with a little chuckle. When they'd first met neither of them really thought they'd last this long, and she certainly didn't think this relationship would last this long... it was sort of sad to think about, but she was so glad it have lasted this long.

Sage hummed happily when she mentioned the kids would love the beach, thinking about how much fun they'd have playing in the waves and on the sand. He chuckled slightly and gave her a sort of grin and shrug. "Sort of," he mused. "At least, you were something here I had to think about," he mused. "Otherwise I'd have totally given up and let myself die off a long time ago," he admitted. "between you and Anya I don't get a moments peace," he chuckled fondly. He supposed it was a rather cheesy thing to say ..that she'd saved his life....but it was true. If it hadn't been for her, he'd have no reason to stay alive. That's just how it had worked for him. But she'd changed that....showed him something good and kind that he could hold on to. And he still appreciated it, especially on the days when things were just seeming bad.
