Sage chuckled when Liz moved to climb into the bed, telling her goodnight and tucking her in before nodding at elaras comment, sitting down in the chair next to her and reaching for the pen Liz had been using.

Elara reached for the pen at the same time, their hands brushing before she pulled away, shifting her gaze back onto the papers. She instructed him on how to write and even accomplished some reading.

Sage had paused when their hands brushed against each other, his pulse speeding up. He wasn't quite sure why, but he was glad the darkness his the flush on his face as he picked it up and started following her instructions

Elara's pulse had sped up as well, yet she said nothing as she focused on teaching him instead. She dazed as he wrote a sentence, thinking of the earlier exchange before teaching him another.

Sage had a hard time focusing on what Elara was telling him, if he was being totally honest. But he pushed those thoughts aside and did his best to work on writing whatever Elara was telling him. It was hard work, but he found himself enjoying the time with her. They worked late...but eventually Elara had mentioned stopping and going to bed, which he agreed with once he realized how tired he was.

Elara had a hard time drifting off that night, as her mind kept drifting to the exchange between the two. It was hardly anything, and she doubted he even realize it had happened---or even thought about it.

Sage had passed out fairly quickly, but he found himself dreaming soon after. It wasn't the normal nightmares....so he jerked awake with a yelp, slapping a hand over his face so as not to wake anyone. He was getting panicky though, so he slipped out of the cabin, just pacing along the porch, trying to calm himself down. It was cold enough for his breath to frost, so he should probably put a shirt on, but the clothes were still hanging up and he hardly felt the cold as of then.

Elara heard him yelp and woke up, disoriented as she saw him walk out before noticing his bare figure passing by the door numerous times. She stood and grabbed one of his shirts, carrying it out as she stopped in the doorway. "Sage?"

Sage nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Elara behind him, but recognized her voice quickly and paused before continuing to pace. "I'm alright," he noted. "Just a bad dream. I'll be in soon....you should go back to bed." He felt a bit bad about waking her up.

She nodded, leaning against the doorframe before shivering, extending the shirt to him. "Here, better put this on, it's freezing out here." Elara noted, waiting for him to take it before continuing. "Do you want to talk about it? You don't usually pace..'
