Sage sighed when she didn't wake, and moved to try harder to get her up
| |
Amira woke with a gasp, eyes wide. She took a couple shaky breaths before speaking. "Sorry" she muttered
| |
Sage was relieved when she woke up, shaking his head. "It's alright," he hummed.
| |
"It wasn't a resonable dream" She muttered, curling up tightly
| |
Sage sort of sighed. "Doesn't matter. Just because he's dead doesn't mean they'll disappear. But they do go away...we'll make sure you can sleep fine again soon," he promised.

"How did you know I was thinking of him?" She asked
| |
He offered her a small smile. "I have demons of my own," he reminded her gently. "I know how it all works."
| |
Amira nodded and buried her face in his chest, trying to have the nightmare leave her mind
| |
Sage knew it was hard, so he wrapped his arms around her snugly, hoping she'd be able to calm down.
| |
"I love you" She murmured, looking at him
