Mari hummed gently to him before shaking her head. "For some, strange reason apparently," she chuckled lightly, sort of cocking her head when he sprinted off ahead of them. She sort of wandered over, a slightly raised brow as she looked over at him. She definately loved him... even if there really wasn't a valid reason as to why. She was just drawn to him, in every way she could possibly think of. They both came with a lot of issues, and she knew that, but she couldn't not love him. All of those issues seemed so miniscule after everything they'd been through. She peered over the edge when she got closer to him, then sort of shivered and took a step back. "Why, you going to push me?" She asked with a little laugh.

Sage chuckled slightly in response to her comment, giving her a grin when she stepped back. "Why would I ever do that," he asked with a sort of laugh. "It looks a little too far of a drop for that," he mused lightly. "I'd prefer to keep you healthy and alive," he chirped. "at least for now," he teased her gently, knowing he'd obviously never hurt her. He peered into the pool after that, eyes bright as he took in all the details. It would be a cool painting, he thought....the pond in the middle of the woods, full of life and things he was definitely curious about. It was just neat, he supposed.

The woman huffed out a breath before shaking her head. "Because you're secretly plotting my demise," she mused with a bit of a laugh. "For now?! What are you planning on doing later," she huffed dramatically before sort of peering over the edge. She gave him a bit of a grin after a moment and shook her head. "You getting a huge brain wave or art inspo?" She asked with a small laugh before shaking her head.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment, and gave her a sort of pout. "But then who would give me back rubs," he asked, eyes glittering. "Liz?" Then he hummed lightly and nodded happily in response to her other question, grinning happily, though he hadn't looked away from the little bit of water. "there's so much inspo out here," he mused. "it's a bit ahead to pick which ones I want to do first," he admitted with a chuckle. After a few more minutes he moved away from the edge and took aria arm again, wandering off down the trail again. There was probably more to see....and they could always come back if they really wanted to.

The woman rolled her eyes at him before moving to follow him down the track. "Sage hun, you do understand that Liz is a child, yeah? Those back rubs wont be very effective, no?" She chuckled lightly to him before moving to peck his cheek happily. "If you can get her attention long enough, you'll be away though," she chuckled softly to him. She looked around the little trail they were on in awe, really just taking everyhing in... it really was amazing. And she couldn't be happier with it all, especially since it was with Sage.

Sage chuckled in repsonse to her comment, giving her a grin. "That's my point," he mused. "I need to keep you around," he added with amusement. He quieted down soon enough though, craning his neck around to take in all the details around them as they walked. Well....Mari walked, and he sort of bounced around her, but whatever. That wasn't exactly uncommon in these type of situations. Besides....his brain was absolutely overloaded with all the art prospects, so that was mostly what was on his mind. Of course, he was enjoying being with Mari, and half of his mind stayed on her....but he was definitely rather excited about the art.

The woman sort of pouted at him in defeat before just accepting that he'd won, and wrapped her arm around him a little tighter. It was just so gorgeous around here... it did leave her a little bit in awe. She sighed to him after a moment before moving to watch Sage bounce along next to her... it really was lovely to see. She loved seeing him so happy, just bouncing about and enjoying life. He did that much more now, and she couldn't be more glad for it. There'd been a bit of a patch that she didn't know if he'd ever be so happy again, or if their relationship would just diminish... but she was definately glad it hadn't.

Sage was more than happy to just bounce along next to Mari, really just glad to be outside and in the woods again. He always liked it, he supposed....but he also grew up pretty much out in the woods, so it was his home to a certain extent. He just enjoyed being outside, he supposed. But having Mari with him was even better. "It's all so cool," he chirped. 'i have so many ideas," he added with a chuckle, craning his head to peer up at the very tops of the trees and look for all the birds that were up there.

The woman eventually pulled her eyes off him to look around, really just enjoying herself out here. It hit her that she never really went out on walks or anything like this. She'd have to start doing this when they got home, too... she let out a heavy sigh, a content one, and looked over to Sage with a bit of a smile. "Yeah?" She asked with a small chuckle. "I expect to be extra spoilt when we get back then, with all your exotic paintings," she teased to him softly.

Sage bounced around for a while longer before glancing over at Mari for a moment when she spoke up, before looking back out at the woods. "Don't you worry, I'll be painting about a million things all at once," he mused. "You might not see me for the rest of the year," he added with a sort of laugh, obviously joking about it, though he did plan on working on art for a while. That was how he'd made money to get them here...rather than taking anything out of savings....Mari would probably find out eventually, but that was ok. He'd keep it under the blanket for now though. And now he could make more money off of all the new ideas he had.....so he could spoil her all he wanted to. Which, admittedly, was a lot.
