The girl pouted and sort of moved to roll them both over, and sort of rested lightly on his chest with a small chuckle. "I don't like it when you vanish to the yard all day and show up late at night," she mused softly, going to press another light kiss to his chin. "And it hurts my soul when you leave the pillows on the couch all wonky," she chuckled softly to him, again shaking her head with a bit of a laugh. "But I've learned to live with you these past few years, so I can't really complain," she hummed sloftly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, letting her roll them over and wrapping his arms around her when she flopped on top of him. "Oh, your poor, poor soul," he mused with a chuckle. "Well you haven't killed me or thrown me out yet, so I'd assume you manage well enough with me in your house," he mused lightly. He was really still just joking around, obviously....and she knew that. They both knew she'd never get mad enough at him to kick him out or hurt him, in any way shape or form. They'd had their little argument, over the other baby, and that had taught them a lesson neither of them were likely to ever forget.

The woman groaned to him and moved to peck his lips before settling down again. "I know! All you do it hurt me," she huffed teasingly before burying her face into his chest. Obviously, it wasn't true... she didn't acually think he'd ever said anything unfair to her, while she'd definately been a little bit more than unfair towards him a couple of times now. The more she thought about it, though, the worse she felt so just tried to shake it off. She didn't need to be thinking about that at all. "If I killed you I'd have no one to play with," she huffed, rolling her eyes in a rather amused manner.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, pecking her back and then hugging her tightly again for a moment before just cuddling up happily. "Of you killed me you'd be so bored," he mused. "Without me drooling over you all the time, what ever would you do through the day," he teased her gently, really just glad to be laying around and laughing with her. It was nice to be able to do that.

The woman huffed out a heavy breath and moved to sort of roll away. "I'd never kill you," she hummed, as though it was some sort of acheivement. "I'd never get another husband as hot as you," she complained to him with a bit of a giggle, eventually hopping off him and out of bed, going to open the glass-panned doors. "Or a husband that would drool over and old maid all day," she added softly as she came back to the bed with a happy little smile.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, moving to sort of roll over and sit up when she moved to open the blinds. "Well, it might take some searching to find one but I'm sure someone as good as you would manage," he mused lightly. "That may be true," he added with a sort of laugh. He scooted over a bit so she could get back on the bed then, more than happy with the day so far.

Mari sort of huffed out a breath to him before shaking her head. "Yeah, you're not very nice to me... it might just be insentive for me to run away and start a whole new life with some sexy beach guy," she chuckled lightly to him a she sprawled out on the bed. "It wouldn't take much here," she added with another little chuchkle. It did amuse her... nothing like that would ever happen, but the idea did make her chuchkle.

Sage chuckled slightly and hummed in response to her comment. "Yeah, the kids might be upset," he mused, still really just teasing her. He'd be upset too, obviously, but he also knew she'd never run off on them either. "That's true," he mused. "I'm sure any guy would love to have you," he chuckled. "But you're stuck with me," he chirped, pecking her cheek lightly with a kind of mischievous giggle.

The woman sort of huffed out a breath and waved a hand at him. "Ahh, they'd get over it, I only tell them off anyway," she mused lightly. Though, she loved those kids more than anything, and it was pretty clear they moved her too. She looked over at him before moing to roll towards him with a small chuckle. "Unfortunately," she huffed childishly before moving to peck his lips softly. She then glanced over at him with a smile. "What are we doing today? Sitting in bed or...?" She asked with a small chuckle.

Sage chuckled lightly and the snorted in response to her comment. "Only that and then spoil them rotten," he mused. He gave her a grin in response to her peck and next couple of comments, shrugging and letting out a thoughtful huff of breath. "Oh, I don't care," he mused. "We could go explore the property more...there's woods out back and stuff," he suggested lightly. He really didn't care though....as long as he was with Mari and they were having fun, he would be happy with whatever they decided on doing. Edited at March 9, 2024 04:49 PM by NightClan
