You don't really train LGDs besides putting them in as pups with the livestock to bond with them. Either they have the instinct to guard them, or they don't.
Myth Because I purchased him as a LGD for my livestock. GD part, but not the L part. I was told wrong how you were suposed to train him. And I know shouldn't of just listened to the breeder and I should of asked other LGD owners. I'm kicking myself for it. He's such a sweet boy
Dakota smiled and got out of the car when it came to a stop. She walked over to Jacob wrapping her arms around his neck. She looked up at him. "Mhmm." She murrmered. "Ready to go in?" She asked as her hand wrapped around his. Dakota grinned and walked in with him.
"Everywhere? You sure about that? Even to the police station?!" Dakota laughed and fell onto the bed. She grinned slightly and grabbed her swimsuit. She changed quickly and looked at Jacob. "You ready for the pool?"
"You said you would take me everywhere. That includes the police station. You work there, don't you?" Dakota smiled and walked to the pool with him. There wasn't anyone there except for one, older looking man. He seemed nice. Maybe in his late 50's. The man looked over when they walked in. Dakota grinned slightly and hopped into the pool. The man came over to Jacob. "Hello! My name is Walter. Nice looking girl you got there! You seem to be taking good care of her. She's very pretty if you didn't already know that!" Walter gave a slight chuckle. He looked over at Dakota in the pool. "Just you two? You have any kiddo's?"
Jacob said "hi Walter I am Jacob thanks my wife thinks she not but I keep telling her she is" Jacob said " we have four of them and just getting a a break"
"Thats nice! I have two of my own. They're all grown up now. My wife passed away 13 years ago from cancer. She meant the world to me. I bet your wife is incredible too." Walter nodded and walked out to the hall. "Have a good night!" He said walking to his room. Dakota smiled. "He seemed nice!"
