Sage smiled softly when she pecked him, humming lightly when she asked if he was hungry. He supposed he was getting there, but he was still waking up. Of course, he knew Mari would bring food in and he could eat it whenever....so he sort of just settled back down into the covers again with a soft huff of air, waiting for her to come back.

It didn't take mari long to wander back in after a bit, a little tray with some fruit, iced tea and some chocolate pastries on there. She jumped onto the bed after a moment with a happy little grin. "Hey," she hummed softly to him before moving to press a soft kiss to his forehead and putting the tray on his lap. "Just pick at whatever you'd like," he murmured happily.

Sage sort of settled there for a while, before shifting slightly so he was sort of half sitting up against the pillows when Mari came in. He hummed lightly in response, a sleepy smile forming on his face in response to her peck. "Thanks babe," he hummed still half groggily before sort of just picking at the little pieces happily. "What prompted all of this," he asked with a slight chuckle, slowly waking up a bit more.

The woman smiled and settled down next to him, sort of resting her head on his shoulder and running her fingers up and down his side soothingly. "Nothing," she murmured lightly, a small chcuhle escaping her. "I just love you I suppose..." she mused softly to him before shaking her head lightly.

Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comment, nestling into her comfortably. "Well I appreciate it," he hummed. He tossed another bit of food in his mouth before offering a piece to Mari happily. He did appreciate all of this....but he wanted her to eat too. So why not? She's made it, anyway, so she deserved at least a little bit of it. And being in bed was nice.

The girl gave a happy little smile and move to pop a piece in her mouth when he offered it to her. She'd made enough for the both of them, anyway. She sort of watched him for a moment before moving to peck his cheek with a big grin. She was lucky to have him, and she'd think that every day of her life. She grinned and cocked her head at him. "I'll give you that back rub later too, if you'd like," she mused lightly.

Sage grinned over at the girl when she accepted the fact that he wanted them to both eat, and honeslty was just happy to eat in silence for a whie, curled up against her, all snug and comfortable. He hummed happily in response to her comment when she spoke up, nodding. "I won't ever say no to a good back rub," he noted with amusement, pecking the side of her head, now having woken up a bit more.

The woman gave a happy little hum when he pecked her head, closing her eyes for a moment before moving to grin up at him. They only had a couple of days left, and she just wanted to enjoy it all. She smiled softly after a moment and moved to grab some fruit off the plate putting it to the side once they'd finished. "I thought you'd say something like that," she mused happily.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment, nodding and handing her the now empty tray so she could set it aside. Then he sort of just wrapped his arms around her before flopping over back down onto the bed, dragging her down with him. "Now come back under the covers," he chuckled, figuring he may as well cuddle up under the blankets, since they were cozy, and they were on the bed anyway.

The girl hummed lightly, a small squeak escaping her after a moment when he dragged her down, but smiled happily and moved to get under the covers, sort of moving to pull herself into him. She gave a content sigh after a moment, a bit of a chuckle escaping her but more than happy just to settle down for a bit.
