Sage hummed softly with a nod, hanging up the last bit of clothing and when picking the basket up. "She was the push I needed to leave," he noted, though when she said she was sorry he offered her a small smile and shake of his head. "Not your fault. I just ....seem to get all the bad luck in life," he noted with a shrug. He paused then though, and looked back at her after a moment. "But this cabin, running away together out here....I think I've finally gotten some good luck," he noted, his smile real this time.

Elara listened as he spoke, nodding occasionally. "Running together out here....I think i've finally gotten some good luck." His words echoed in her mind, the woman glancing back over at him with a warm smile. "I'm glad you think so, does that mean we see eachother as less a bodyguard and princess and more so. . . friends?" She asked, curious.

Sage had half turned to move back to out the basket away, but turned back to her as she spoke, eyes widening as she offered friendship. He felt his jaw drop, not entirely sure how to respond. He shook his surprise aside after a moment though, closing his mouth and giving her a somewhat shy smile and a nod. "I....I think I'd like that," he agreed softly.

She smiled at his response, glad he had agreed as she nodded. "Good," Elara chirped, Varys trotting beside her as she headed back inside.

Sage watched Elara go with a faint smile, just grinning to himself as he moved to but the basket away. A friend. It was a new concept to him, of course, but he was definitely fond of the girl, and he was very excited to be able to be a bit more familiar with her. To know he could talk to her if need be.

Liz was awake, a spilled bottle of ink in her hands, the dye on drizzled on her skin as she looked up at Elara and grinned. The woman stared for a moment, walking over and taking the bottle from the girl, grabbing a rag and wiping the excess off before noting the new stains on Liz's skin. Elara told her to go get cleaned up with some water, watching as she ran out to Sage, showing him the patterns. The woman turned and started cleaning the ink.

Sage had looked up when Liz came running towards him, letting out a yelp when she grabbed a hold of him, leaving handprints on his own skin. "Liz, you just had a bath," he sort of squeaked, picking her up and holding her away from him so he got slightly less messy, carrying her over to where he could get a rag wet and wipe her off best he could.

Elara finished cleaning up, walking outside to ring out the rag at the perfect timing to watch as she streaked ink onto her father, the woman smiling softly at the sight. "She's a mess monster, i'll tell you." She mused

Sage grunted in agreement to elaras comment, nodding along. "Don't i know it," he groaned, though couldn't help the smile that crossed his face when Liz giggled about the bubbles in the bucket he'd put the soap in to try and scrub her off.

"And look, you're still smiling about it." Elara chuckled, the laugh fading as Liz splashed some of the bubbles at her. The woman grinned, tossing some at the girl, Liz giggling.
