Sage did think about Luke, and he offered her a small smile. "We'll raise them right. They'll be best friends, not anything else," he promised gently.

Sage settled down then, though eventually sighed. "I'm getting hungry...want anything specific for dinner?"

"I'm not hungry, love" She muttered, closing her eyes

Sage hummed softly and nodded, moving to sit up and peck her head. "I'll be right back then," he mused softly, heading for the kitchen

He grabbed some leftovers and heated them up before moving back to her

When Sage came back, Amira smiled a small smile at him before curling up beside him
