Rose looked at her phone and sighed. I'm coming, but i'd like to talk to you. Without the other guys. She sent the text and got out of her car, walking back up to Caden's room. "What happened after he left?" She asked, not knowing what all he knew

Trevor ushered the rest of the team out. "Well,two ways Im going to explain this.The first one,we were all coming up the trail and saw Caden with the vile,so I stabbed his leg with Narcan,likely saving his life.We called 9-1-1 and he was airlifted here.Sigh Did'nt get here quick enough.If we had gotten here only minutes earlier,he would'nt be on life support or in a coma." Trevor explained,just as the familar beep of the heart moniter quickedned rapidly.

"Shit." She muttered, head in her hands. "I'm beyond glad you were there, though. Thank you." She muttered, lifting her head. "He was keeping something from me, but I thought we were past that since....well, y'know." She said

Trevor went quiet. "Well,im here if you need me." He said,getting up and walking to the door. "Oh,and also,men keep secrets and thats normal,just leave them be or they'll be made worse." He walked out of the hospital

The heart moniter beeped louder and faster,atracting a nurse. "107 BPM shit.That's bad,that's really bad." She muttered quietly,checking his status. "Ma'm,if none of us doctors or nurses are in here and you see his heart rate go up,please,press this button.It could save his life." She walked out.Caden heard everything,but did'nt speak,did'nt move.

"Thanks." Rose muttered as Trevor walked out. When the heart monitor started beeping fatser, Rose stood, watching the nurse. She nodded in response to the nurse's request. Rose sat back down and held her head in her hands as the nurse walked away. Please be okay. Please live. She thought, her leg bouncing

The next day settled on a new dawn,a new slate if you will.Caden still remain in a coma on the hospital bed,the life support still running.Today's events could be easy,or,they could turn quickly with just one checkmate.

Rose hadn't slept all night, worrying something would happen and she would miss it. Both good or bad. She sighed, standing up from the chair and going over to the window, looking at the city that once brought her calm. She couldn't feel calm. Not now with Caden in a coma and her brother most likely ready to kill her

Caden had gotten taken off life support,now just waiting to wake up from the coma.Doctors had checked in on him,looking him over just to figure out he was doing well.A small trickle of movement awoke Caden,just with his hands.His fingers moved,just before falling limp again,completly swalloed by the coma again.
