Regan shrugged to him with a bit of a laugh. "Well, you might be looking for places you're going to hide your weapon, you know, the one you're going to kill with?" She joked to him. "Don't put it under the bed, I'll find it there," she giggled to him with a childish looking grin. It was just a tease, but at some point she would have genuinely believed that was what he was on the look out for. "Alright, well, maybe do it tomorrow," she told him with a soft sigh. "It's getting dark and I don't know how I feel about you going out alone," she told him with a soft huff.

Tyler barked a laugh, shaking his head. "No, that's for tomorrow." He chuckled, stirring the sauce. Or... the mushrooms and water. "Oh don't worry, if I hide a weapon anywhere you're not going to find it THAT easily." He snorted, his eyes twinkling teasingly. At Regan's last comment he sighed slightly, but nodded. "Okay." Was all Tyler said, showing he heard and understood what Regan said. Even if he didn't really agree.

Regan pouted at him before rolling her eyes. "Am I going to have to sleep with one eye open, Tyler?" The girl mused happily. The only reason she could joke about this was because she trusted that her never actually hurt her like that... and she'd never do anything like that to him, either, and she hoped he knew that. She looked over his shoulder before grabbing some flour to mix into the flour and adding some stock and seasoning she'd picked up from the camp... she was glad she had. The sauce had started to thicken up, and the sliced mushrooms were softening nicely. The steakes were fine, so she chucked them on a plate each and added the sauce on the side before handing it to the man... it wasn't much, and it wasn't anything fancy, but it was better than the food they normally ate. "By all means, go if you'd like," she then told him in amusement.

"You'd better." Tyler flashed a grin, though he was more focused on the sauce now. Tyler stepped aside to let Regan do her thing, but he took the steaks when handed them. "Oh I would never go against what you suggest, spare me the pain." Tyler joked, setting the steaks down at the table. He got out his deer sticks, mostly because he might eat one or two, setting them near the table before searching for anything to make the meal even better. Not that Regan's cooking was bad, at this point Tyler would eat anything.

Regan raised a brow at him after a moment or two. "Was that a threat?" She asked with a bit of a laugh. She grabbed her plate and went to sit down... the food was actually very plain, but it wasn't bad... just a bit boring. She was a bit disappointed with it, but she couldn't do anything about it now... so she could hear relax and get some rest once she'd water. She grabbed some salt and pepper and things to get everything just a bit more exciting to eat. She rolled her eyes at him. "Yeah, I'll never let you get away with going against me," she joked to him.

Tyler shook his head with a chuckle. "Technically no, but my answer is only if you want it to be." He halfway teased, sitting down at the small table. Tyler glanced at the stuff on the table, which looked amazing... and after he too, a bite, he knew it tasted even better. "Wow Regan, if you cook like this every day I might not be able to climb trees anymore." He joked, his eyes widened slightly. "Though really, this is awesome." Tyler commented, taking another bite and savoring the flavor

Regan huffed out an amused breath of complaint before sitting down at the little table. "Man, I really need to find myself some more weapons so I can save myself from you," she chuckled lightly to the boy. If he really wanted to hurt her, he'd have no issues, and she knew that... even if she fought back, there'd be a fat chance that she'd get out unscathed. She should just think herself lucky that he didn't want to hurt her.. well, she didn't think he did. She smiled. When he liked her food... it wasn't anything special, but it would keep them alive. She just thought it'd be nice to have something other than stew for once in their life. "You helped make it, you know," she chirped to him.

Tyler let out a chuckle, shaking his head. "I have extras, if that's really what you need them for." He teased, taking another bite and looking rather thankful. -fooood...- Tyler thought happily, pleased it was food that wasn't stew. He raised his eyebrows at Regan's last comment. "Wow, really playing along with Tim McGraw's song... Humble and Kind, ain't ya?" Tyler asked with a slight smile. "C'mon Regan, all I did was stare at some water. I didn't even touch the steaks." He chuckled, running a hand through his black hair

Regan hummed thoughtfully to him before shaking her head. "I think I might need them. You know, if you want to fuel my safety... from you," she laughed lightly to him. She then cocked her head at him. "We still have very different tastes in music tastes, Tyler," she told him with an amused chuckle. "But I think humble, in this case is not the right word," she told him with a laugh. "But you did help! It made things a bit quicker," she told him with a smile. "You made sure the mushrooms and water didn't run away," she told him, a laugh escaping her after a moment or two.

"Oh yes, feeling your safety is my only goal. Wait... oh. Yeah. Now I see." He nodded thoughtfully, a smile splitting his face moments later. Sometimes... sometimes he could be funny. If he really tried. Tyler's eyes widened slightly as he watched Regan. "Oh but that song is awesome..." he trailed off with a sigh. He raised his brows at Regan's last comment, looking amused. "Sure. Like the mushrooms we're going to grow legs, get up, and run away. Seems like a bit too much work, don't ya think?" He snorted, finishing the steak rather quickly
