Maxine nodded "Exactly my thoughts... I mean I may be an artist but this is just too bright..." She admitted "I'm all about color and stuff but this is just too much..." She said softly. Though she knew they could change it she'd much rather have Sage change their current place there were so many memories there... good and bad but mostly good... besides this place... it didn't feel like home. |

Sage hummed and nodded. They walked around together for the rest of the tour before explaining to the realtor they weren't very interested but thanking her. She was fine with it and sent them on their way with good wishes, and they headed home. He stopped to grab a few tools on the way home...he'd start later. "I'll start working tomorrow," he promised Max. "It's a bit late tonight," he chuckled. |

Maxine thanked her as well and they headed out in their small car they'd bought shortly after Max got a handle on her powers. Of course Lance was disappointed but he understood their reasoning he was glad they'd at least had a look before they decided. When they were in the car Max nodded "Okay I'm not in a huge rush..." She assured him "But of course I'm excited to see you get started "Just please if I can help let me." She begged him thinking for a moment "Hey... I got to pick something I wanted to add to the house what about you? Is there something you wanted to add?" She asked curiously. |

Sage chuckled and nodded. "All right. And of course, it's your house too." He shrugged and grinned at the girl somewhat sheepishly. "And not really, I'm fine with whatever, you know that." He leaned over and pecked the girl on the cheek with another chuckle. "What did you have in mind?" |

Maxine chuckled "I know I just thought I'd ask... I requested the second bedroom I just thought you might want something." She shrugged "I don't have anything in mind really... maybe a little breezeway where I can sit and do art and still be outside without being all the way outside...? That can be a place where Charlie can play too... and a place where we can have dinners and stuff too." She chirped excitedly "Please though Sage if there's anything you wanna add add it!" She encouraged happily "This isn't just my home like you said this is our home." |

Sage smiled and nodded happily. "I think I can make something like that happen," he hummed in a sort of joking manner. He pecked the girl on the cheek again before going out to the backyard to pull up some supplies and get the first part sorted out a bit. He wasn't overly artsy, but he could design something that looked almost like a house blueprint. |

Maxine smiled "Ok!" She chirped happily kissing him back before she put Charlie down on the floor on her belly before she went to take inventory on what they needed as far as food and stuff she'd have to go to the store soon that was for sure... she thought as she looked around and made a list of what they needed. |

Sage screwed around in the backyard for a bit until he knew what he was building and got what he needed to make the first few rooms. He'd make Charlie's bedroom first, then Max's little art book, and add in some shelves and things to keep more art stuff in. His birthday, or rather the one Max had come up with, was soon...the next day or two he thought, and he wanted to have something done by then. |

"Hey Sage! I'm gonna run to the store! I'll take Charlie with me so you can have a bit of a break." She chirped "Want me to grab anything for you?" She called after finishing her list. |

He popped his head back into the room and shook his head. "I think I'll manage," he chuckled. "Have a good time hon," he called over to her before looking over at little Charlie. "Behave, girlie," he giggled before heading back out. He may as well start on some things done with the new house while she was out shopping. He could probably get the outline done that night. |
