Aria smiled. She walked to the kitchen and grabbed some food, staying close to Sage incase he had a breakdown at any point. The girl looked over at him. "You okay?" She asked. She thought about him a lot, and wanted to check on him.

Sage sort of just followed Aria along through the kitchen. He wanted to stay close to her, he just felt kind of bad. Just a really crumby feeling. He nodded slightly at her question. "I'll be alright," he murmured.

Aria nodded. "Are you sure?" The girl asked worriedly. She knew Sage had a troubled past, and she wanted to help him get through it in any way possible. "I know you've gone through some tough times, and... I just want you to know that i'm here for you. I always will be. When times are hard, i'll stand by your side. Me and Caroline love you so much Sage. I just wanted you to know that." Aria whispered with a soft sigh.

Sage listened to the girl and sighed slightly, squeezing her hand lightly. "I know," he murmured, the love he had for her and Caroline glittering in his eyes as he looked at the girl. "It's hard...it'll always be hard, everything that has happened....but I'll get through it," he hummed. "As long as I have you and Caroline, I'll be alright."

Aria smiled, tears filling her dark green eyes. She wrapped her arms around the boy happily and looked up at him. Caroline started crying down the hall. Aria giggled and walked down to get her. She picked up the little girl and kissed her forehead softly.

Sage hugged Aria back tightly, though released her so she could get their daughter. He followed her and fussed over Caroline for a moment, just not wanting anything to happen to either of them. Everything was probably fine, he just worried now more than ever.

Aria looked down at Caroline. She was happy they had her, and she didn't lose her as well. Aria sighed and walked back to their room, still holding the plate of food in her free hand. Caroline was propped up on her hip, beaming at everything she saw. Aria chuckled and brushed Caroline's wavy hair out of her face. The little girl was getting so big. She was almost crawling already. Aria saw that she was such a quick learner, and hoped to teach her to ride a horse someday.

Sage pattered after the girl softly, just glad to at least have Caroline with them. Maybe in a while, they could try for another child....but he wasn't really wanting that quite yet. He was just so glad to have aria and Caroline with him.

Aria sat Caroline on the ground to play with her toys. Of course she wanted another baby but she knew Sage wasn't ready. She sat by the window with a sigh, and looked out. She was ready for another, but she knew Sage would be scared again.

Sage curled up on the bed to watch Caroline before closing his eyes, trying to drown all the crazy thoughts out of his head. He just ended up falling into a restless sleep, though.
