Maxine giggled "Of course." she assured him softly. After a while the nightgown had long-since been tossed aside and the two of them were curled up together "Was that payment enough...?" she asked somewhat breathlessly looking up at him. She'd hit all the sweet spots she had ever found and a couple of new ones and he'd hit damn near everyone of her sweet spots too (not that it was too hard lately...) she smiled up at him hoping he was quite happy as she was "I don't know how or why but it seems like it was better then before..." she cooed happily.

Sage chuckled, admittedly somewhat breathlessly, and rested his head against the girl next to him. "I'd say that was acceptable payment," he hummed, sort of teasing the girl. He'd enjoyed the time, and while it couldn't be very long of a time, since Charlie was only napping, but it was good none the less.

Max giggled softly "Good" she purred "If you want you can go hunting or something? I need to work on my latest commission anyways." she smiled "Hailey is paying me very well to do up something for Oliver's room and the nursery." she smiled.

Sage chuckled and pecked the girl on the cheek before slipping out of the bed to toss on some clothes and leave with a wave. He wasn't out long, and was content to just curl up next to Max and rest as she painted.

Max smiled and waited until he'd already left before she tossed on her paint-covered overalls and T-shirt before she went to continue her paintings, she was happy when Sage came home and curled up with her as she painted on the canvas's "Whatcha think? I thought baby deer would be a cute addition to both the nursery and Oliver's room." she smiled glancing over at the colorful baby deer she'd been painting on each canvas.

Sage smiled up at the girl and nodded. "It's a nice touch," he murmured. "And they were done by the hand of a mother," he thought aloud. "Makes it even better." He lay down so he could rest his head on her leg and listen to music while he rested and she painted.

Max smiled at him and leaned over kissing his temple and thanking him before she went back to her painting. After another hour Charlie had woken up so she didn't have a choice but to be done for the moment, she smiled and gently combed a hand through Sage's hair to get his attention "Hey Charlie's up." she cooed. if you wanna skip to where they check out the house go for it.)

Sage opened his eyes when Max alerted him, so he got up to take care of his daughter and come back so Max could keep painting. A few days later, they were out and checking out the house Lance had seen. Well, Max was doing more of the looking than he was...he didn't care where he lived as long as it was with his family. And he could care less about small details. But either way, he was content to follow Mac around and care for Charlie.

The realtor showed them around the nice little cottage-like house Max wasn't super thrilled with it though... as they walked through the house she slowed up to walk with Sage "I'm not a fan... I'd much rather have you work on our place and expand it..." She admitted "About the only thing I like about this place is the fire place and you can get one of those put in as we renovate..." She pointed out under her breath.

Sage chuckled and nodded."I completely agree with you," he admitted. "It's a nice house, just a bit too...loud...for my taste," he muttered, looking around at the brightly painted walls with exuberant decorations. He'd much rather made their perfect house and expand it into something even better.
