Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comment, wrinkling his nose slightly. "You were the one who followed me back to my ship," he noted, still clearly teasing her. She'd saved his life probably, but he was taking the opportunity to tease her anyway.

Though, he nodded at her next comment, a grin crossing his face. "She definitely will," he hummed, sort of just resting his head against Joras shoulder. It wasn't long after that they'd gotten restless though, and decided to go for that walk. Jora had grabbed a few snacks, just in case, and some water, while he grabbed what the baby might need, and then they headed out, really just wandering around wherever they felt like going.

Sage had just grinned voer at Jora with a nod, their playful banter lifting his spirits in the way it always did. "I just wanted the food from your hold," he huffed. "Instead I got a whole woman," he added, nuding her lightly. There were a few more back and forth statements, before they'd sort of moved to start getting ready for the walk, still in pretty good spirits.

At her comment, he nodded, looking around with a soft smile lingering on his face. "i've missed it here," he murmured softly. "The ocean, the forest...all of it," he added with a small shake of his head. "The quiet." He held her hand loosely as they walked, the other hand cradling Lyra in it, since Jora had grabbed the bags. He figured the bags weighed about the same as the baby, so he may as well grab one of them. It was a slightly amusing thought at the time, but for now, he was just glad to be out in nature with his family. Show Lyra around their home, even if she probbaly wouldn't remember any of it once she grew up. But this would still be her home. She'd grow up here. And he couldn't help but delight in sharing it with her.

Sage wandered along happily, just enjoying the peace of it all. He wasn't sure what to look at ... The forest around him, Jora, it the baby, who was looking about at the world with wide eyes. She was clearly amazed at it all, and he couldn't help but he happy she liked it. This was her home and it would prove to be very difficult for it to be home of the baby decided she didn't like something about it like the woods or the sand or.... Whatever else you could think of.

"We're almost back to normal," he hummed after a while, just thinking through the events that had happened. It had been over a year that they'd hadn't been home. Hadn't been truly where they wanted to be. And now they are back, with with whole family. Plus one, he supposed, if she decided to stay. But he liked Selene, and she wasn't bothersome at all. They were getting married too, but they'd already promised each other they'd stay together forever. So he had to do was heal.

Sage just nodded softly, looking around with a soft smile on his face. It had taken so long....but they were home, and he was healing, and things were looking much better than they had been even just a week ago. He wasn't afraid to admit that he was definitely ready for some normalcy....that seemed like something that would be so far away for a while there. But not anymore. They were figuring it out. Healing. Learning.

The baby's babble pulled a laugh out of him, and he pecked the little girls head, cooing some sort of nonsense at her about whatever it was she'd seen. At Joras comment though, he grinned back at her, squeezing her hand lightly with a nod. "It's good to be home," he agreed softly.
