Ajax glared at Mercy, but it quickly turned into one that Could melt metal at her second comment. "I am not an old man! Everyone's back cracks!" He barked defensively, launching himself off the roof and quickly passes Mercy with a loud huff. Ajax angled back towards the cabin, clipping along at a good pace. We'll, faster than he usually ambled along.

Mercy simply stuck her tongue out at him playfully in return to his glare. "Sure, senior." She mocked, following him and beating her wings to match his pace and fly at his side. Her wing tips gently brushed against his, mainly because she wanted to tease him. She tilted her head at his faster-than-average speed, but went along with it without question.

(Because his average speed is like falling-out-of-the-sky MPH XD) +++ Ajax rolled his eyes at the comment, and when Mercy came up beside him he whacked her wing with his. "How many times do I have to tell you, I died 23 so I stay 23 FOREVER." Ajax huffed, slowing down ever so slightly. Still, then we're quickly approaching the cabin and he was preparing for a big stunt. He veered away from Mercy slightly as they got closer. Now, his true intent wasn't to prove anything. He just wanted to see if he could do it. As they got close to the ground he tucked his wings in and flipped headfirst out of the sky, landing on his feet (surprisingly) and not even stumbling. "YES. NO OLD MAN COULD DO THAT." He pointed out with a grin. Edited at January 17, 2024 04:54 PM by Wild West Warmbloods

((Mercy just struggling along behind him with a grumpy face XD)) Mercy let out a laugh as he whacked her wing, doing a simple barrel roll to adjust. "That doesn't mean you don't have the mind of an old man." She teases, whacking him back with her wing in turn. She smiled as he slowed down, finding it easier to keep up. She raised her eyebrows as Ajax got that *I'm about to do something dumb* look on his face, descending lightly as he went about his show. She clapped in a slow, slightly patronizing way, nodding with a smile. "True. I'll give you that one." She giggled, starting lightly into the house.

(XDDD) +++ Ajax narrowed his eyes at Mercy because of her comment. "Do you really think I have the right personality to have the mind of an old man?" He inquired grumpily. After completing the feat he really didn't think he would accomplish, Ajax looked quite pleased. Surprisingly he had done it before- after dying, once he mostly got over the whole dead thing, he was still around the real age of 23. So, of course, he was less mature and the first thing that came to mind was: HOLY CRAP I HAVE WINGS WHAT COOL THINGS COULD I DO WITH THEM. Soooo, for the first 3 years of his death, pretty much all he did was perfect insane stunts. That was rather quite simple, he just didn't think- because he hadn't practiced in a while- that it would happen again. "That was absolutely amazing, I bet you couldn't do it, and no old man mind would think of that either." Ajax pointed out with a victorious smile, striding to the house and opening the door for her.

"No, you're far too immature." Mercy teased, giggling at his pride over the stunt. "Sure it was. But don't challenge me, because I could definitely do that, old man." She teased, grinning as he opened the door for her. "Such a gentleman." She joked, walking in lightly and kicking off her shoes before she flopped down on the couch.

"Maybe that's a good thing in this case. PLUS, if I am SO much older than you Miss Smartypants, then why aren't I more mature?" Ajax answered, but he wasn't really paying attention to smart comebacks- the prided look on his face showed he was still thinking about something else. "Ha! All bark no bite. I dare you to a challenge on the coolest, craziest airborne tricks." He had a daring tone to his voice, crossing his arms and lifting his brow as he watched for her answer.

"I would love to know the answer to that." Mercy snickered, rolling her eyes at him with a pleasant smile. "I'll have you know I'm very little bark compared to my bite." She challenged, leveling a defiant look at him. "You're immature." She sighed, walking into him and pressing a light kiss to his lips. "But fine."

Ajax rolled his eyes, still waiting for a straight response from Mercy. When he heard *you're immature* he grinned, knowing that probably meant yes. "Eh, I think you would like the immature me better." He kissed her back, spinning her in a circle with a mocking grin. "Now Mercy you are gonna regret that. If you insist on calling me an old man then I just have to point out that means I was dead for a lot longer than you, and in turn that means I had a lot more time to learn stuff and get in trouble." Ajax pointed out with a wink.

Mercy smiled at him as he answered. "I think I do too." She smiled faintly as he kissed her back, barely managing not to break the contact with a bubbly grin. She let out a light laugh as he twirled her around, looking utterly charmed by him for a little. "Maybe. But oh well, I'm confident anyway. You're going down, handsome." She teased, her heart fluttering very faintly at his wink. "All I have to say is bring it on." She challenged softly, looking up at him with a slight smirk.
