The girl rolled her eyes at him for a moment or two before shugging. Why must he be so stubborn about everything? The camp bed was just a bit of fabric between two poles. It was tiny, and he was huge, and he'd have to lay on his sides to get comfortable. To heal, he'd need to be on his back, especially with his ribs to open up his lungs and set his breathing easier. "Yes, Tyler, in this case, it will," she huffed to him before sitting back down. She didn't care, and she didn't particularly want the bed. "You're so stubborn," she then added in a bit of amusement. "For now, then. When you're all better we can swap," she told him with a small smile.

Tyler let out a slow breath, battling with his brain. He'd just have to accept Regan was going to help him, no matter what he said. "Okay then. Whatever you say." He said with a bit of amusement, giving in yet again. Everywhere else Tyler was a rather commanding person, and he always liked to be the top dog. He never let anyone boss him around or tell him what to do. Then Regan came, and Tyler knew one of them had to back down for their relationship to be okay. They were both equally stubborn, but Tyler cared too much about Regan... so he always backed down after a while. "I'll just take a nap then, but don't expect it to be too long." Tyler let out a small sigh, glancing up. He finally just laid back in the bed and stared up at the ceiling. To Tyler's surprise... he passed out rather quickly

Regan nodded with a sigh of relief when he finally agreed. She just wanted him to stay with her... and he wouldn't be able to stay if he wasn't healthy enough to keep up. She liked Tyler, she did, but she couldn't give her life for him... if she had to choose between saving her life or risking it to help Tyler, she simply couldn't in good conscious say that she'd choose to help him. She felt awful admitting that... but it was true. She couldn't choose him if it was one or the other. They just weren't close enough for that. But, she supposed, he would be better... soon, hopefully. "Have a good nap," she told him quietly before settling down herself. She found she couldn't sleep, so wandered off to find an old scrap book that she'd made here a few years back.

I'm laughing at how much Regan underestimates Tyler, with his strength and how big his heart is lol. )) - Tyler slept for a couple hours, but towards the end it got kind of restless. He woke up quickly, waiting till his brain was fully awake before sitting up and rubbing his head. It was now the afternoon, but It wasn't dark yet. Tyler was going to go map out more forest. He stood up slowly with a shake of his head, glancing around the cabin. "Hey Regan, I'm leaving to go for a walk now. Would you want to come?" He asked, looking out the window to see what the weather was like. Tyler strapped back on his belt of daggers and got ready, just waiting for Regan's answer

(Aha, she's s bit like that with everyone lol. I've kinda written her as though she sees him like a child to some extent, but if you want me to tone it down a little then that's fine.) Regan went through her little book quietly, the memories flooding quickly through her. It had little pictures and snippets of her family, and all she wanted to do as of then was get back to them. They were warm and welcoming and that was all she wanted. Her older and younger siblings meant the world to her, as did her parents when they were still around. They were gone now. She knew that, she saw it happen, but there was a bit of hope that her siblings may only be out there. She looked over to Tyler when she saw him move and offered a bit of a smile. "Sleep well?" She asked quietly. He soon moved and asked if she wanted to walk with him, and hesitantly agreed. "Yes, of course," she hummed lightly before forcing herself up to her feet.

No it's fine, I like her character.)) - "yes, I did" Tyler answered, stretching out an arm before moving out the doorway. "We will go to the marker I placed earlier today, then continue forward in a straight line using the sun and placing different markers on the way." Tyler mused, half just talking to himself. He started down the trail, following markers he had placed to show where he had walked before. His mind wandered over to why Regan even cared if he got better. -maybe she just doesn't want me to fall behind- Tyler thought suddenly. -does she think this is restricting me? Or that I'd hold her back? Is she worried she will have to choose between saving me or her?- he wondered slowly. -Well... obviously she would choose herself. Anyone would, especially at this point- he finished his train of quick thoughts, almost laughing hysterically at this. He stayed quiet, though. Regan was completely underestimating Tyler in every way shape and form. He forged forward through the trees, being sure not to go too fast.

Regan listened to him quietly before standing up. Oh, that was right. He was going to nap everything out... that was a good idea. They might need to flee in a hurry and it would be handy to know where everything was... and maybe they'd even find someone else in the ten mile radius. She felt bad that he felt he had to find people for her. She enjoyed being around him... and she didn't mind talking to him, she thought he was quite interesting, actually. She didn't hate him. It would just be... nice to have a break from walking on egg shells around him. To not offend him or make him think lesser of her. She knew she didn't have to worry about that, but for some reason she still just... did. "Yeah, that's fine," she chirped before pottering out the door behind him happily.

Tyler thought hard as he almost wandered off the trail a couple times. He veered back near the markers with a sigh, glancing around. Tyler could tell that Regan was still trying not to offend him, and that did annoy him. Slightly. He would never think any less of her, and it was hard to annoy Tyler when you were his only friend. He trudged onward until he got to his last marker. Tyler then kept walking, except this time he stopped every ten-twenty yards to put up a marker.

Regan followed him quietly before cocking her head. "What do you want for dinner, Tyler? I have a stove now," she mused lightly. "The stoves our oyster, I can make anything," she then added with a bit of an amused chuckle. She did want to, as well... cooking was just about the only thing she enjoyed at the moment. She had nothing else to do. She couldn't say anything else was as freeing as something as simple as cooking. Not now, at least. She noticed him nearly weaving off once or twice, but soon settled othe trail again. "You alright?" She asked with a cocked head before padding a little quicker so that she was walking next to him. She did wonder what was on his mind, sometimes. Was he missing anyone? Family? Or was he looking for somewhere that suited him more that she and her tiny little cabin did? Or someone? -I need to stop worrying- she scolded herself bitterly before shaking her head.

Tyler's brain wandered back to the present as he dimly heard Regan's voice. "Whatever you want to make. I'm not a picky eater." He answered, knowing that wasn't very helpful... but it was true. Tyler would eat just about anything. His brain started to stalk off again, then slowly drew back as Regan spoke a second time. "Yeah I'm fine. Just busy thinking." Tyler said, keeping his gaze on the trail ahead and not wavering off this time. He kept putting up markers, wrapping them around trees and into branches.
