Sage couldn't help but burst out laughing at the comment about women having eggs. "There's not much I can say to that," he snorted in amusement. He was laughing too hard to say anything else, though he cast Sahara and amused look. They all knew she was joking around ...so was he....and he had had quite a bit of fun with it all. He was tired now though, and a yawn broke through his laughter. His wound was hurting too, so he tried to stifle it, pressing a hand against his guy with a slight wheeze.

Quinn grinned. "See Sahara? You have spent almost an hour saying stuff, and with every insult Sage had a comeback. I say one thing... and he has nothing. I'm amazing." Quinn teased her horse, looking at Sage with a smile. "Welll... I can see you are tired... and your wound is hurting.. so I'm going to take a nap. My suggestion is you do, too." Quinn said with a slight chuckle, shaking her head as she continued to think about what he had said.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged in response to Quinn's comment, throwing the squirrelan amused look. He looked back up at the girl a nodded. "That does sound rather appealing," he murmured, shifting so he was more comfortable in her lap and closing his eyes again. He was tired, and his stomach was hurting a bit, so a nap would definitely be nice.

Quinn smiled triumphantly as Sage laid down. She was sure he'd be out within a minute. She leaned her head back against the wall and let out a very slow, happy sigh. Then Quinn just slowly drifted off into sleep... at first she was still thinking about things but she fell into a deeper sleep, and her world went black.

Sage, just as Quinn had assumed, pretty much fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. He was more tired than he'd originally thought, he supposed. But that was fine....sleep was fine. Sleeping was peaceful, as long as he didn't get too many nightsows.

Quinn woke up sometime later in the day. (I have no idea what time it is XD) She opened her eyes slowly and yawned, glancing around. Sahara was drinking... that was good. -I barely ever see my squirreldrink...- Quinn thought with an amused smile. She glanced down at Sage, wondering if he was still asleep. It was good for him, that was for sure. Quinn decided now would be a good time to check the wound. She very slowly slid out from under Sage's head, then unwrapped his wound quickly. It still wasn't infected... and it looked like it was healing nicely. A scar had already started to form. Quinn wrapped it back up with a clean bandage and leaned back

Sage was still asleep when Quinn woke up. He felt her shift around, though he didn't wake up at all. He shifted slightly once she'd stopped doing whatever she was doing to get comfortable again and then settled down, huffing out a soft breath out of his nose. He was sleeping peacefully, and it was definitely nice.

Quinn stifled a chuckle when she saw Sage was still asleep. Who could sleep while someone prodded around to check a bullet wound in your gut? Sage. Obviously. Quinn clenched her teeth together and made no sound, wanting him to be able to sleep well. She leaned back against the wall and thought about things... like what they were going to do.

Sage stayed asleep for another couple hours before stirring and blinking his eyes open with a yawn. He stretched slightly and then curled up again, resting his chin on the pile of blankets with a huff of air, looking around the cave to see what all was going on around him.

"Good day sleepyhead." Quinn teased quietly, seeing Sage awaken. She glanced out at Sahara who turned his head and stomped a hoof. Quinn tried to frown, but she couldn't help but laugh. "See... predictable..." Quinn said quietly, raising a slight eyebrow at Sahara. The squirrelflicked her tail and sauntered off to the grass, starting to graze.
