"Oh. So you didn't have any friends except Flame? I hated school. I had school in the orphanage. Life was really hard for me. I would get bullied a ton. One time, a girl handed me birthday invitations to pass out, and guess what? I wasn't even invited. I missed my parents and my normal life. But, I also missed you. I remember sitting by the window everyday watching the kids play outside. I would wait everyday for you to come back. But, No one came for me. I was so sad, that one of the families that fostered me, sent me back the same day. I went to 13 houses in only 1 week." Tears welled up in Dakota's eyes. She looked down. Dakota could still remember the day her and Jacob had the picnic.

(Flashback*)

Dakota: "Jacob? One day, we're going to get married. I don't know why, I just think it will happen!" She laid her head on his shoulder and looked at the side of his face. She kissed his cheek and grinned.

Jacob: "Oh really? You're wayyy off. That would be in like, 20 years!" He smiled and looked around. "I got to go. Dads waiting."

Dakota: "Okay. Bye Jacob! I'll see you tomorrow! Mom is dropping me off." She ran back home.

The next day...

Jacob: He sat in the grass waiting for Dakota to come. But she never showed up. Then his phone rang. "Excuse me, Dakota's parents passed away in a car accident. Dakota has been sent to the nearest orphanage." The police said. Jacob dropped the phone and ran to the accident site. He saw Dakota being pulled away by the police in tears. "Nooo!" He yelled. And that was the last time he saw her.

Jacob said " I know I sat in school wanting to go and get you but I couldn't my dad always locks my bedroom door every day but he forget that I climb down the window "

Dakota blinked out of the flashback. "Y-Yeah. I bet you had a better time than me. Anyways-" She trailed off when the waitress came with their food. "Thank you!" Dakota told her. She ate her food happily and held Jacob's hand.

Jacob sighed and said " not really kids picked on me cause of my name and my dad " said thanks to the girl and ate his food

"Your name? What's wrong with your name? Jacob seems fine to me." Dakota looked into his brown eyes. His wavy hair covered his forhead.

Jacob said "my Nickname was jo jo in a school which everyone laughed at my dad actually made it up and one girl told me I looked more like a girl then a boy"

"How? Because your hair was long or something? It's not that long." Dakota smiled. "Don't listen to other people. You're cute either way."

Jacob said "cause I had curly hair and I was pale back then and had to put on a skin tone "

"Oh my gosh. You didn't have to." Dakota giggled and squeezed his hand. "It's alright. That was years ago."

Jacob said "yeah I changed pretty good I think" Jacob smiles and hold her hand
