"So, you nervous about tomorrow?" She went to grab a straw and knocked over her water. "Shit." She reached for the napkins, cleaning it up. "Sorry!"

"I mean, a little. Honestly you never get used to the feeling, waking up at the crack of dawn, warm ups, weigh ins, the adrenaline rush you get which is better than any energy drink. And then you get on your horse and load into the gate and my gosh, that space is so small and claustrophobic it freaks you out. And by the time those gates fly open, youre already pale as a ghost when your horse launches at 50 miles an hour." He said easily, the whisky loosening his tounge.

"Sounds exhilarating." She mused. The waitress came by again, taking dishes and asking if they wanted dessert. Charlotte looked at Jaden, questioning yes or no.

"Sure," He slurred, already on his fifth glass of the night.

"Jaden, you sounds drunk. How many glasses have you had?" She questioned, looking at him concerningly. "You said you weren't gonna get drunk."

"Oh wait do I seem drunk?" He asked, zoning out for a moment before blinking a few times. "Ain't my fault the stuff tastes good." Jaden chuckled, looking over at her with a gleam in his eye and a smile.

"Yup." She mused, a faint smirk tugging at her mouth. "Anyways, what time to we leave tomorrow?" She asked as the waitress set the dessert right infront of them. "Thanks!"

"6:30ish, though I could get the time pushed back if you really wanted it." He mused, taking a bite of the slice of cake he'd gotten.
