"I swear to take you traveling more often then. Show you the world, as Aladdin says" he says hugging her. As he led her to the cafe he was immediately led to a table despite the amount of people waiting for a spot. "Perks of fame" he tells her, kissing her. "I love you, love you so much" he says, pulling her seat out for her. The waiter handed them both menus.

She looks around, amazed at how many people were staring at Kvothe. What the? She quickly grabs his hand to feel safe. "Why is everyone looking at you?" She whispers, scooting her chair closer to him. " I don't understand that..." She says, slightly scared. She tried to read the menu, but everything sounded disgusting, even a croissant. She made a face when she saw the prices. The waitress cam and asked for their orders. "Um....I'll just get a caramel mocha. Oatmilk, please. Just a preferance, not an allergy. And that's it for me." She blushed. The waitress was very pretty, but Delilah wasn't just intimidated, but full on jealous. She's so pretty.... Edited at November 7, 2024 02:31 PM by Blue Diamond

Kvothe waves the waiter over and gets up. "Can we get a private room?" He asks. The waiter leads them to a private room instead. "Is this better?" He asks her, stroking her hair. "They have my favorite crepes here, would you like to try?" He asks, feeling bad that he had scared her. "I'm sorry for scaring you" he adds softly.

She sat with her head down, thinking about the waitress and how she had eyed Kvothe. "No, you're fine." She mumbled to him, "I'm just a bit overwhelmed... I'm not hungry, just thirsty i guess...."

When the waitress brought their orders, Delilah mumbled a thanks and chugged her coffee. Then, the waitress brought the check Kvothe payed and Delilah stood, holding his hand and trying to show him she wanted to go. "Let's look at something ese you wanted to show me? Please?" She asked, hoping he would be okay with that.

Kvothe nodded. He reached over and placed a kiss on her head. "Order whatever drink you'd like" he says pushing the drink menu over to her. He paid no attention to the waitress, his eyes were solely focused on Delilah.

"Sure. That sounds fun. I'm ready whenever you are. I kinda want to just go somewhere, then to the hotel. Please? The plane made me jetlagged." Edited at November 7, 2024 02:43 PM by Blue Diamond

Kvothe smiles, "hmm, if you want somewhere more calm, we could go and feed the ducks at the ponds. I used to love doing that as a kid" he tells her.

"I don't care either way. This is your city, so we should do what you want. If you want to go somewhere while i'm at the hotel, that's fine too. I don't care."
