"'Cause she's black and red, and shiny. Sometimes she bites." He smiled, fishing out a tape. She was old and he didn't want to change aaanything about her that he didn't have to. So he had become a bit of a collector of tapes. He read one to himself, and put it in. He turned it on. "Hello hello Guns N' Roses."

"I've never heard of a Ladybug that bites." Tempe grinned, watching him sort through his tapes, entertained. She curled up in her seat and watched him pop the tape in, grinning. She perked up as it started playing, smiling at him. "I love Guns N' Roses."

"The orange ones do." He made a face. Coming from experience. He sat back in his seat, checking his mirrors. His hands were resting at the bottom of the wheel. He was mapping out what road to take to the beat of Sweet O' Child of Mine. "Me too. Can tell you it is not as easy as you'd hope to find tapes."

"Duly noted. But... this ladybug isn't orange, so she shouldn't bite." Tempe pointed out sarcastically, her head bopping ever so slightly to the beat. "I can imagine. I doubt there are many places that sell them besides thrift stores of Goodwills." She said lightly, settling her head back against the seat and closing her eyes.

"I would explain my logic but once I do neither of us will understand." He was definitely mocking her, giving her a playful jab. He flicked on the turn signal, turning into a more homely looking road. "Mosy of even those don't. Antique stores are fun though, I found most of them there."

"Ha-ha. Really original." Tempe smiled, watching the road as they turned. "Oh, wow. That makes a lot of sense though. Is this your usual taste? Guns N' Roses, that style?" She asked curiously.

He smiled back at her checking his mirrors again. He seemed a little anxious in the car. "Yes yes, Led Zeppelin, Mother Mother. The like." He smiled. He was humming along to the music, tapping with his thumbs. "How about you? Have a favorite artist?"

Tempe took in his slight anxiety lightly, but she said nothing. She tilted her head at the question, nodding. "Yeah, you'll bully me about it though. My taste is also kind of everywhere. Ed Sheeran, for one. Otherwise? Plain White T's, Three Doors Down, and Green Day, occasionally." She shrugged.

..have you heard Kryptonite?)) "Thinking out loud and Perfect, i stand with Ed Sheeran." He listened to the rest, smiling at Green Day. "I can totally see Ed but Green Day? Good choice." He was definitely a little bit of a hard rock guy, but the occasional love song gets him good, yknow? Edited at November 22, 2023 09:33 PM by Prismatic Cove

Brother used to be obsessed with it, it was the only thing he could play on the guitar)) "His voice is so strangely soothing. I like Bad Habits, the tune is catchy." Tempe grinned, shrugging. "Sometimes you're feeling American Idiot and other times you're feeling When September Ends." She said lightly. "But I do like classic rock. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts? Love them. And I grew up country so mainly anything that comes on like that, I'm down. I dunno, I'm all over the place." ((Why does that sentence make me imagine him tearing up to some mushy song))
