Tyra smiled, "I must warn, I am a bit boring" she said, taking another sip, her stomach seemed to be doing flips when he looked at her, "hm, favourite animal is a artic fox" she said, "Tasi devils are adorable, been down there once or twice, lovely place Tasi is" she said, "any questions you can think of? I am running out of questions"

"An arctic fox... they are pretty animals." Lucifer mused, finishing his glass. "Adorable? Never heard that before." He seemed a bit surprised. Usually the answer he got ... if anyone ever asked that... was they would stare at him like he was crazy and either say nothing or say Tasi devils were scary and weird. "Here's a question. Why did you ask me, of all beings, to go to a bar with? You could have gone alone and met someone, or if you didn't want to go alone you could have gone with someone at the office. You know them a lot better than you know me." Lucifer asked quizzically.

Tyra made a chocking sound, then righted herself, "erm.. uh" Tyra was pretty sure her face had gone a nice shade of hot pink, Tyra took another sip, maybe she could keep stalling, "um, I.." Tyra fanned out her shirt, ' Whoo, it's getting hot in here' she thought, "I um.." how do I say this? "Shit, um I.. sorta.. just.. like you" Tyra was suddenly staring at her glass like it was her world, she didn't want to see his face when he would laugh

Lucifer raised his eyebrows. -Is she going to be ok?- He thought, not really looking... concerned, because he was the devil and he shouldn't be concerned for a human, but looking mildly worried. Kind of. A little. "Ah. Well in any case I don't want you choking to death in my bar, because I would be the main suspect at this point and that doesn't sound like very much fun... so just stop the embarrassed look. It's okay, I really don't want you dying after you said that, eh?" He chuckled a little, tilting his head. "Really Tyra, it is ok, I'm not laughing at you."
| |
Tyra looked up at him slowly, "this must be a regular thing you get, huh?" She said, unable to meet his gaze, she took another sip of her moscato, Tyra rubbed her head, "I am sorry, I shouldn't of said it"
| |
Lucifer didn't answer right away. "Well yes, but I can tell it is different for you. Don't be sorry you said it, it is kinda hard to resist." He joked, grinning a little before running a hand through his pitch-black hair. "I like you too... definitely your spunk and stubbornness to NOT like me at first. Though, I don't think you should have any more to drink after that." Lucifer tried not to chuckle, his amber eyes sparkling mischeviously.

Tyra laughed, "then what am I supposed to do?" She said, looking at her now empty glass, she gazed up at Lucifer, noticing a twinkle in his eyes, "what? What is it?"
| |
"Hm, well, if you didn't notice... it is 11 PM. Not that I'm one for sleep or not hanging out with hot girls after 9, buuuutt... we have work tomorrow and I'm sure you have better things to do. On that note, if you want something to drink, I have every type of pop imaginable and there is this amazing thing called water, not that I'd ever encourage drinking that." Lucifer grinned. "Absolutely nothing."
| |
Tyra lilted her head at him, "no, seriously what is it? You got a twinkle in your eye, i see it" she said, narrowing her eyes at him, trying to figure out what it was,
| |
"No seriously it is nothing. I always have a twinkle in my eye, if you haven't noticed." Lucifer said convincingly. He was amazing at hiding secrets, since he had a lot of practice, and he didn't really want to share what he was thinking.
