Caden was shocked that she hugged him but he hugs her back and said " you okay you didn't get hurt did you " as he eye looks around for a something that he hurt her at caden was worried he couldn't stop thinking what that guy did to her caden was in pain but didn't show it or made noise at least he was strong about pain he didn't need to be weak about it caden said " I won't let the guy hurt you again I promise you that do worry he won't be back I can mark my works " as be wanted to make sure she felt safe in this place it was a bad timing that guy to come over

"No" She murmured quietly, closing her eyes for a minute. It's fine, your okay, and you're safe now..hopefully. She looked over his shoulder in the hallway as she listened. Are you sure? What if he does come back? Valerie held her thoughts, "Okay." she quivered, backing away from him as she stood motionless. She really hoped that was true...that man seemed much less friendly than Caden- yet she still didn't want to be here...Valerie could easily move..to a different town...or change her identity, but even if she did suggest that to Caden, he probably wouldn't let her leave.

Caden let's her go and looks at her before he said " I am going to go clean up " as he was about to walks away he felt pain in his stomach not normal pain he clench over groaning as he reaches to his back and felt a knife not just any knife a wolfban knife one that can kill you caden caused to himself quietly that way she doesn't hear about it at all caden looks around for.something but couldn't find it and he sighed as he then said " I need you to got find the beta he a looks like me but wear different clothes "

Valerie felt somewhat bad for him, he was clearly in pain. "Okay." She agreed, walking off to first look in the house for him. Looking through the rooms, she couldn't find him...that meant he was outside. Going past Caden, she made her way outside, all she could see was a large forest that covered the land around, her and the guards who were just recovering from the attack. She walked over to the man that Caden had instructed to get, "Hey, Caden needs you" She beckoned towards the house and watched as he headed towards it. Freedom.. She thought, should she run away? This would be the perfect chance...all of them were injured, and they wouldn't be able to catch her due to their injuries.

The beta come to Caden and took him to a bed to treat him all he need was something to help him draw the poison out and he would he fine Caden groans once it was done and he smiles said " thank beta " beta nods and walks back out side to see about other pack members puppies ran outside and towards the girl before jumping up and down one pup said " hi you must be new to our pack welcome to the pack " as the other ones noda and they circle her around and around not caring if they got dizzy at all

Valerie almost tripped over one of the pups as they started to circle her, "No- I'm not in your pack. I'm not even supposed to be here." She huffed, looking into the forest. Valerie managed to get out of the center and farther into the woods. No one had noticed her yet, besides the pups, they probably wouldn't understand. Could she really escape? Valerie glanced back at the house, Caden wasn't in eye range, yet the people outside were recovering, and if she wanted to escape, it had to be very soon...at some point, she'd probably be trapped in that house again.

One of the puppies follows her and said " please don't leave Why don't you like stay here " as he whines he name was kit and he was going to be a hunter one of these day and he wanted to be the best kit said " Don't you know how dangerous it is for you you a female who hasn't been touched " as he growls and said " Caden shouldn't have protected you let him take you away if he catches you again Don't come crying to us about it " as he turns to walk away Caden walks outside and looks around and sighed then head over to the other and said " have you seen Valerie "

Valerie looked over at the pup, leaning down to pat its head. "I need to go home, I shouldn't be here anyways..." if she told the pup she was escaping- or was kidnapped...and forced to stay here, it probably wouldn't understand. So, Valerie glanced back at the house before quickly walking into the forest. She didn't know where she was, so she just hoped for the best. Valerie had thought about reporting this to the police...but she soon decided not to after Caden saved her. As she walked through the woods she'd glance back every 2 minutes maybe to see if anyone was following her.

Kit said " you give up on Caden so easily what a shame " as he trots out and towards the hurt pack and sighed as he started help his dad who was the beta Caden growls when he figures out that she might have took off running away Caden said "she gets caught I won't help her that ĥer choice" kit whines as he heard what caden said about Valerie but then again he knew Caden didn't want to get hurt again by the man even if it would cost his life anyways

Valerie eventually sat down to catch her breath, she had been walking for a while now, and still...she hadn't spotted the town. I'm lost, aren't I? I guess I predicted the distance wrong... She sighed, thinking about what the pup said. Im not going to get caught...She looked back towards the trees the way she came. Hopefully. I'm sure he won't send people to come to look for me if his 'pack' is injured. Then a new question entered her thoughts...What if that man comes back? No...In a way out, theres no way.... Valerie told herself that, but she actually wasn't sure, But one thing she did know for sure, is that she did not want to be out in these woods in the dark, so she got up, and continued onward.
