Tyler guffawed at her teasing. "You have no idea." He snorted. "If only you knew who I really was. Here's a couple small things: I'm the youngest famous country singer ever, and I was in a couple TV shows... every time either an assasin or murderer. But the thing is... no one knows exactly who I am. In songs you only hear the voice, and I change my voice dramatically to sing. In the TV shows I change my look... i usually make myself look like I do now. Yes, I tend to shave when I have a razor and for TV shows I don't, so no one can recognize me. Another fact: Everyone stayed away from me in school because I was 'scary'. I have a terrible temper, no matter what you think, and I tend to be rude. When I 'caught' you, I very quickly decided that instead of kicking you out, or just being plain mean, that I would hide my actual self so whatever you teased me about was never really true. My dad came and messed that all up, because now you have one valid thing to tease me about and make me mad. I changed my whole identity just to make sure I didn't lose my temper with you." Tyler explained, his dark eyes twinkling. "Bet you didn't guess that, did ya? And yes, I did grow up in Texas. My album, Bury Me In Texas was a big hit among a lot of people. Then again, most people just listen because of the voice I use. I was always good with different accents and voices... but this one was definitely my best." Tyler grinned, rolling his shoulders. He wanted to see how Regan reacted to all this. "Oh, by the way, I was not lying about my name. I am really Tyler Carter."

The girl was barely really listening... she was exhausted still, and kind of half asleep, but she could take in a bit of what he was saying... something about him being a singer and an actor. So, he had been lying to her for all this time? Seemed a little bit too much effort for her. "Everything I tease you about is valid," she murmured quietly as she curled up a little bit more. "You were sporty in school, no? And academic? You're a liar now, too. But then again, you always were... considering you said your name was Aaron. What was the point?" She sighed quietly. She hadn't meant got anything to come across as malicious, but she was certainly tired... and she kind of right. She then looked up at him with a small smile. "Did you lie about your age, too?" She asked with a soft sigh. She was used to this kind of thing by now... all the lies. She'd been out here for long enough to know that barely anyone told the truth... mostly to protect themselves. She then gave a bit of a smile. "Well, you don't intimidate me. Lose your temper and see what happens," she eventually sighed.

Tyler looked at her. "I think you should get some more sleep. Just my suggestion. Also, if you climb the tree there is a crook up near the branches that is super comfortable, and the leaves block the sunlight. Plus, I was only sporty in school to keep up my strength. It was all just exercise for me, never any more. I only lied because I knew I would get angry at you if i didn't, And I don't REALLY like getting angry at people." He offered a small smile before walking away through the brush to gather more dead wood for a fire. Raptor followed him happily, panting in the warm sunlight. Tyler's broad shoulders disappeared through the brush, and Regan was alone again (with Millie, of course)

Regan hummed quietly before shaking her head. "I'm trying to sleep," she murmured gently. She then looked back up to the tree, thinking about it for a moment before deciding that climbing up there would hurt her side awfully. "That'd too much effort," she groaned as she hid her eyes behind her hand to hide from the sun. "Why would you get angry with me? I've been an angel!" She told him with a small chuckle. She heard him walk off, and little Millie's ears perked up at the sound, sad to see her new doggy friend walking off, but soon settled again.

Tyler sighed. "An angel." He muttered. "I wish she knew the last person that angered ,e that much got a knife in their side." He the new felt sheepish. "The knife in HER side was a MISTAKE thank you very much." He thought, going to a tall maple tree and sitting below it. He put his cowboy (just describing the shape) hat over his eyes and decided to practice the song he made up. He sang the chorus in his deep, slightly raspy voice that was, for country, amazing. "Trust your rebel heart, ride it into battle, don't be afraid, take the road less traveled. Wear out your boots, kick up the gravel, don't be afraid, take the road less traveled." He practiced the chorus till it sounded perfect, a smile coming onto his handsome face. He then realized... he wasn't that far away from the campsite and That meant Regan could hear him. "Just another thing for her to tease me about: my silly songs and horrible voice." He thought with a snort, trying it one more time. For old times sake he sang Bury Me In Texas once, his deep voice ringing clearly out over the forest. "Ten miles outta Chattanooga, south of that state line, there's a no name road of highway 2 just, past the welcome sign. It's where I was born, its where I was raised, ain't saying I'm ready yet, but that's the place I wanna be, after my last breath. Bury me in Texas, lemme Rest In Peace, under the pines yeah yeah yeah where my roots run deep. When it's ,y day out in that clay and remember what I told ya, then I die.... Bury me in Texas." He stopped singing ad took a breath. So many good memories and so many horrible ones came with that song... Tyler got up and gathered some firewood, stalking back to the camp

The girl let herself drift off to sleep, but in the back of her head heard the a deep, husky voice... she couldn't decide if it was in her head or not, but she certainly didn't mind listening to it. It helped her sleep if anything. It seemed familiar, somehow, but she was happy to sleep. Curled up in the warmth, sage for once... she was happy. She slept until she heard footsteps stalking back towards the camp, though she hadn't quite reconginsed Tyler's footsteps yet... so she jerked as she heard them, and grabbed a knife from her side and threw it in the direction of the figure. It missed the man by an inch, and she squeaked when she saw it was him. "Sorry - I thought you were something else," she babbled quickly.

As Tyler walked into camp he heard a slight swish, and he ducked, the knife missing his head by an inch. "Good thing I have nice reflexes." He grunted, dropping the fire wood near the stones he had lugged in there. He immediately started a fire. Tyler could tell that Regan had been sleeping, which meant there was hope she hadn't heard his singing. "How about a nice squirrel?" He grinned, drawing out already skinned and ready for cooking meat. He put it on a stick, raising it over the fire and leaned back on a stump to wait till it cooked. He had his cowboy hat low on his face, his work boots crossed and getting heated by the fire. "How'd you sleep?" He asked, and Regan recognized the faint voice she had heard while she drifted off to sleep.

The girl rolled her eyes and curled back again. Maybe she would get used to having someone else around her... he was safe, as far as she could tell... he'd keep them both safe, as long as she was injured. Once she was better she could go and look after herself, which she was frankly excited for. Regan hummed at the thought of squirrel. It wasn't exactly a but meal, but it would certainly fill her up a little bit... she was already very thin, each and every one of her ribs showing. "Squirrel sounds good," she chirped happily. "As long as you cook it this time." She then added with a small chuckle. She hummed when he asked about her sleep and shrugged, "it was good. I kept on hearing this voice... it was a song. It was almost captivating," she hummed before glancing back towards him. "Have you been up for long?"

"Good. And yes, I'll cook it." He smiled, rolling the stick around so it could cook the other side. "I'm glad you slept well. So you kept hearing a voice? Was it a good one, at least?" He grinned, shifting his weight. "I've been up for... the whole night." He grunted, looking the other way

Regan smiled lightly when he said he'd cooked... she'd managed herself to cook, but it was painful, and the heat from the fire irritated her skin. "Thank god," she chirped lightly before cocking her head at him, a small chuckle escaping her. "It was okay, I suppose... it was like being wrapped in a hug, I suppose," she mused lightly. She then wrinkled her nose at him. "You need to get some sleep - if you're tired and a rabid animal comes in, we're done for because we both know I can't look after us," she mused lightly. "I need to get back to my cabin to get some clothes," she murmured quietly.
