if it still burns, would keep it out wrapped in a towel give t five minutes if worse run iit again. though would recommend getting professional help if its not better by an hour

Cold water is recommended to help remove heat from the burn. Furthermore, cold causes the blood vessels to constrict and reduces blood flow.

@QualitySH becareful using cold water yes it cools the burn down and relaxes it, but anything cold especially cold water brings extra blood to the hands or any area of the body, and with extra blood near the burn that's how it can create blood blisters and blood bubble sockets (underneath the burn/skin the blood bubbles)

The Old Gods
You'll want to cover it with nonstick gauze, especially if you get blisters. It'll help keep them clean if they burst.

vaseline is grease, you dont put grease on burns, it makes them bubble up and burst
Lunar Wilds
I personally wouldn’t wrap or pack it until it’s had a chance to dry after rinsing it for a while. If it dries into the gauze or bandaid, it could be pulled off and reopen

Okay thanks I should have guaze but I think the only Vaseline I have is a tiny jar for lips. I've had the water running for a half hour now

repeat this until it goes away! your burn seems like it would take about 4 days to clear up from any pain as long as you follow what I said- avoid any rubbing or hitting it on anything
