Sage continued to sit on the ledge and think until he figured the meat would be about done. He took it off the fire and put it on a flat rock. He was thinking too hard to really feel hungry, so he handed the food off to the girl. He knew he needed food, but he didn't really care - he didn't feel hungry.

she looked at him and took the rock with meat on it. she sighed and went down to him sitting down beside him and setting the food on his lap "you need it more than i do" she lays her head on his shoulder.

He sighed. "Maybe, but I'm not hungry right now." He shrugged and set the food down next to him. "If you're insistent I eat something we can share. But I don't want much."

Se curled up a bit still laying her head on his shoulder she yawns slightly "im not really hungry at the moment either. "

He shrugged. "Then it's here for if we do get hungry. If you're tired go to sleep. I'll watch for...anything bad."
| |
"oh ok." she slowly stood up and walked over to the ledge pulling herself up onto it she moved to the back so he didn't have to crawl over her if he decided to sleep there too. she pulled a blanket over herself and stared at the ceiling trying to fall asleep.

Sage leaned against the opening of the cave with a sigh and looked out into the forest. He didn't really expect anything bad to happen, but there was always the chance someone could attack, especially since the two of them have food. And any sane forest predator wouldn't fight a human for a rabbit, but a very hungry one could.

Ellie tossed and turned sleeping on a rock even with the amount of covers she had was not comfy. She stretched a bit and yawns.

Sage glanced over at the girl and chuckled lightly. "You'll get used to it. But for now, if you want we can put some dried pine needles under the covers so the rock isn't as uncomfortable."

" no its ok really" she glanced over at him and smiled a bit "thank you though"
